One of them even commented that she wanted to be as badass as them!!! Well she said she wanted to be like them, badass was implied!!!

It's been a little while since Grogu Nye has brought you my take on Pop Culture!! Like many during this time, my pop culture tykes and teens need much of my attention!! After digesting the Season 2 Finale of The Mandolorian, I had to let my SWN freak out!!! After all, Star Wars was my very first nerd love!!!!

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni I hope you read this somehow!!! Star Wars has FINALLY found the right pair(s) of hands and minds to truly lead the franchise in Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!!!! A bit of fan service (NOT retelling the same stories with new and old characters) is all that's needed to pay tribute to the foundations of the Star Wars Universe!!!! These two have figured out what I have been SCREAMING as long as I can remember!!! That while the Skywalker Saga (as a whole) touches everything in this time period of the Star Wars Universe; it doesn't have to dominate everything!! Star Wars is about more than the Skywalker's and the Emperor!! It's far DEEPER than the Empire and Rebellion or the First Order and the Resistance!!!! There is so much untapped potential hidden within that Galaxy far, far away!!!! Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are the right people to find it and tell those stories!!!!

I see my fellow citizens of the world calling for Letitia Wright to be fired for putting her personal beliefs out into the world. Similar situation going on with Gina Carano. I don't like driving into serious waters but here goes:. Yes I know what their views are, what they said. Whether I agree or not (saying it once I don't agree with either of them) I don't feel like they deserve to be fired for them!! Hopefully they listen to opposing views with open minds, even if they never change their opinion. When did we forget that we all have different opinions and that's a good thing!! As long as we're open minded, hateful people tend not to be!! Those calling for Letitia Wright and Gina Carano to be fired, I think you may be hateful people!!!

PCT:CEM Sunday edition is HERE!!!!

Science and Space Nerd dreams take a small step into REALITY!!!! I was psyched after reading that Aevum; a space start-up with Mace Windu like cred; unveiled it's RAVN X. A extra orbital launch vehicle!! Not super exciting on it's own, it's not uncommon anymore!! However, two key facts about the RAVN X made me Nerd out hardcore!! The RAVN X is a horizontal launch vehicle, and 70 % of the vehicle itself is made of reusable parts!!! These are HUGE advancements!!! I want to see independent, object, credible verification of Aevum's claims about RAVN X, but that's just me!! Founder and CEO Jay Skylus has impressive credentials, working for NASA and Boeing to name a few!! It's the name though, Skylus, that sells him!!!!

There is a horrific drawback to RAVN X!! It's an autonomous drone!! I already have a recurring nightmare about the Machines rising up!! Thanks James Cameron for that one!!! Now Jay Skylus has no doubt made those recurring nightmares worse!!! While bringing them one step closer to reality!!! Still Aevum and their RAVN X does bring me palpable Nerd excitement!!! Grogu Nye wants to hear anyone's musings about the RAVN X!!!

ANOTHER GROGU'S MUSINGS

I don't about my zero readers, but I can't help but think; "Didn't this idiotic oddball literally just have a musing?". To answer my own thought, YES I DID!! I have LOTS of them!! This one did give me pause!! I do my best to stay away from very serious subjects!! I have valid reasons, but this musing is...different!! I was lost in oddball thought, typical for this Pop Culture Guy, and I wondered why people now have this...innate need to be Right, always!! Then I had a Arrakis Sandworm size realization!!!! Nerds have been arguing over theories and ideas about unknowable parts of our beloved Nerd Culture!! I mean, I know this is no secret right??? We Nerds will argue we are right even though, we ourselves, could never possibly know!! Then, my musing hit me like a pissed off Cylon!! Are we partly to blame?? Our arguments tend to be about the unknown in every Nerdy thing we love!! When we insist we're right, it's about fictional properties; OR theoretical scientific disciplines!! We know we most likely will never have answers, and even if we PASSIONATELY disagree, we don't stop talking about it with each other!! Did some parts of society take this as their own and to an unarguable EXTREME?? Do we Nerds bear some responsibility?? I hope not, but it's at least possible!! I would really LOVE to hear anybody, who considers themselves to be a Nerd, weigh in on this!!! This musing, it's going to stay with me for a while!!! It's Frakking terrifying to think, at least for me!!! No more musings with serious implications for a while PLEASE unusual brain of mine!!!

PCT:CEM presents: What the Frak is the appeal of the Kardashians???? Seriously???? Why the FRAK do they have a TV show???? More baffling to me, Why would any one watch???? Bear in mind I know NOTHING of them on a personal level!!! That said, most of the women in that family, and Rob, come off as...conceited, narcissistic, cocky, self absorbed, pretentious, aloof and smug!!! Before I get lambasted with anger; if anyone ever reads this; remember, UNABASHED COMEDIC HONESTY!!! What is the appeal of watching people like that???? Is it because people want to be like them??? If so, WHY????? Is it because....I can't think of another reason that people would watch the Kardashians!! I thought of only one possible reason people watch and I already asked WHY??? These are your Role Models?? Who you seek to emulate??? REALLY????? What happened to Role Models who, I don't know, helped better society or deepened our understanding of the universe??? Hello again to everyone!! *Looks around* ha oh yeah, Hello me!!! Grogu Nye the Pop Culture Guy back again!!😁 For the first time I am going to be serious. I would like to extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of Pat Patterson, the WWE family, and all the fans. Pat Patterson was not just a legendary figure inside wrestling. He was also the first openly gay wrestler, and that is damn heroic to say the least!! Thank you Pat!!! I only wish I had better words to express my gratitude!!

On the days when the world decides to pile on more and more; once the pop culture tykes are asleep, I just want to be Grogu Nye the Sleeping Guy!!! Some times on those days, like today/tonight/this morning, the littlest pop culture tyke who was no more than four says: "Frack you Grogu(Dad) you get nothing hahahahaha!!". Ok, so she didn't really say that!! In my head she did, all evil sounding!! Complete with maniacal laughter!!

Would life, broadly speaking, be better if everything followed clearly defined rules, laws and had no, unexplainable, grey areas!! Outliers, exceptions, I can already hear it. Think about it though, in math, those outliers can be understood and then make sense. A number that should not exist, is deemed an imaginary number!! If you see an i after a number, it means it's imaginary!! We have rules in mathematics to know how to work with, imaginary numbers!! Most, possibly everything eventually, in mathematics and scientific subjects follows rules and laws so we can understand what to do in any given situation!! WHY THE F**K are we not given a list of the rules and laws that govern Human Behavior as soon as we're old enough to comprehend the rules and laws?? Why do Human Beings have to be so damn difficult to figure out?? Yeah, yeah, I know, we are an incredibly complex species to understand, blah, blah blah!! Truthfully, my theory is Humans are just impossible to understand!! We are incredibly, complex is the nice word, f**ing weird is how I put it!! Sorry if I offend, but we are pretty weird!! Love to hear thoughts, ideas and opinions!

Maybe that's why. Maybe, Mando was rubbing his hand like that so Grogu didn't start force choking people and such?? Just a fun thought that gave my imagination some fun ammo!! First, we SWN; ugh and Star Wars Fans, so I don't offend with the word Nerd; need to stop getting so pissy about EVERYTHING!! Our love for Star Wars is undeniable, but different is fun and change promotes growth and evolution!! QUIT BEING STUCK IN THE PAST!! Our childhoods will NOT be ruined because it's begining to be different, more diverse and change in a galaxy far, far away!!

You know how Asohka would hold Grogu’s hand when she connected with him and they felt each other’s thoughts? HEAR ME OUT. Maybe Mando was trying to tell him something before they parted by rubbing his little hand; a final goodbye and best wishes. TELL ME THIS ISN’T WHAT HE COULD BE DOING.

I, a grown ass 40 year old man, am NOT ashamed to admit this, not even a little: I had a full blown, cute crush called and I became part of the popular crowd teenage girl FEAKOUT when Ashoka Tano appeared live action!!!!!! I'm not exaggerating for comedic effect either!!! FULL BLOWN TEENAGE GIRL FREAKOUT!!!! Thank you Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Rosario Dawson and everyone for bringing an ass kicking, intelligent and in the know, beloved character to Living Rooms everywhere!!

Grogu Nye: Pop Culture Guy is back again, already, and taking aim, once again at my fellow SWN(Star Wars Nerds)!!! *IMPORTANT MESSAGE BROUGHT TO YOU BY...ME!! I will not always go after SWN, it's too damn easy honestly!!*. I have to ask, bluntly, my fellow SWN, (Star Wars fans if SWN offends): why ANYTHING different in ANYTHING Star Wars pisses you all off so much?? Many SWN complain about anything and almost EVERYTHING, talk about the whiniest group of people!! I mean I whine about way too much!! I still whine FAR less than almost all SWN(Star Wars Fans if your still...upset)!! I whine a lot, like a ridiculous amount, because my dogs see more love and affection in a day, than I do in months!!!! To be fair, all my dogs are so much cuter than I am!! I would probably show them more affection than I get too!!!! Seriously though think about this: if everything Star Wars was just the same 3 stories, told over and over again in slightly different ways, with different characters. New names, new faces, new dialogue, same story told slightly differently, for the 817th time!! Why the frack, would ANY Star Wars Nerds/Fans ever think that's the way to go?? Yet, it certainly seems like what some narrow minded(my opinion only) SWN and Star Wars Fans (👀) really want to see!! If that's what you want Star Wars to be: JUST FRACKING WATCH THE MOVIES THAT ALREADY ARE THERE!! Quit wanting the same thing!! New Ideas, understanding and growth only come with change!! Jon Favreau you rock at maintaining a delicate balance for SWN, and Star Wars Fans, to keep us from turning into whiny and petulant toddlers who need a nap DESPERATELY!!
