Report.. Report... Ohhhh how unlike him to forget. Then again, could you blame him? None the less, as digits laced together as palms laid into his lap, the informant gave the other a nod. Letting him know that he did indeed get the report sent to him.
“I got it, yes. In fact, I just finished looking it over. Figuring that I’d reply to you later, but I don’t see any point in doing that now, correct?”
After all, why would he reply to the report when the kid who wrote it was in his very apartment? It’d be silly to do so, in honesty.
“I don’t have anything for you two at the moment, unless you’d be willing to go and grab some needed groceries for me.”
Izaya spoke with a smirk, a chuckle easily escaping past his lips. A joke, really. But if the other accepted-- There wouldn’t be any harm in taking advantage of it, correctly?
“I just wanted to know if you got the report I sent you yesterday. Since you haven’t replied as you usually do, I thought I’ll make sure. Also, we already did all the work you wanted us to do, so what are we supposed to do now?”
The blond tried to act as nonchalantly as possible, thought he was still a little bit nervous when coming to Izaya’s place. The past couldn’t be erased that easily.
Though it wasn’t that bad lately….
Really, Izaya used to tease him sometimes, but it wasn’t too bad. It was usually only something harmless and while the blond was still nervous around the raven, he was certainly more relaxed than he used to be.
