The only reason that third-party candidates don't have a chance at winning the presidency
is because everyone thinks that a vote for a third-party is a wasted vote.
With that mentality, they never will get elected.
People should vote for who they feel shares the same stance on important issues as them.
If it happens to be one of the two party candidates, great. If it’s a third party, then vote for them.
There is no such thing as a wasted vote.

Some guys are just so boring. Like all they have to offer is dick, a few good morning texts, and a boring conversation. And people settle for it because they are desperate to have someone. But life should be exciting and relationships should be fun and spontaneous and bring out the creativity in both people. Well that’s what it has to be for me. That’s a must. Wanting to experience a life of enjoyment together is a form of intimacy

R.I.P. Slide to Unlock
It was the first touchscreen interaction I had with a phone, and it unlocked a magical world that fit in my pocket.
Apple’s “slide to unlock” was the very first thing to greet us on the very first iPhone in 2007. It elicited gasps of awe when Steve Jobs demoed it during that astounding keynote. It was a signature interaction—one that Apple sued Samsung over and then hung on bitterly as the original ruling in Apple’s favor was thrown out and, just four days ago, reinstated after Apple appealed.
But a couple years back, Apple introduced the fingerprint scanner, and I stopped using the feature. It was quicker and easier to just press the home button and let it sign me in.
Now, in iOS 10, “slide to unlock” is gone. Do I miss it? It’s a sentimental loss, as I explained above. It was a brilliant piece of UI design that has forever changed the way interaction designers approach our work. But being practical, no, I don’t miss it in the least. It is no longer needed, rendered superfluous by superior technology.
It belongs in a museum. It is certainly worthy of a place in the MoMA.

My fantastic invention, an app where you can search the book you’re reading, and the page you’re up to, and storytellr will generate a synopsis for your current novel, spoiler free, catching you up to the current point in the narrative.
The image is composed of lightly edited UI elements from an IOS suite, screenshots, and fonts that I have obtained.

WhatsApp is one of those apps we always recommend to people that are new smartphone owners and it’s been a very popular app since it launched in 2009. It is however dying for an update, both the UI and the UX.

5 design habits that can screw anyone

I have been experimenting with design lately and have learned a lot. There are so many do’s and don’ts for design that will break you or make you. As the famous quote from Steve Jobs goes “Deciding what not to do is more important than deciding what to do”. So, in this blog post I am pointing out 5 don’ts for design:
Do not copy design: Designers when designing, let that be website design, product design or any sort of design, tend to look for the best designs out there. Many designers or companies copy designs which tend to be the best in the market. But if you look at their stats after launching their product, most of them failed to achieve what they thought they will be. In short their whole great-copied design didn’t work for them. The reason being that designers or design companies do their research related to the product they are working on. They spend days, weeks, months or sometimes even years going back and forth on few design ideas. The research also includes their target users, demographic, and other parameters. Once they collect and analyze that data, they design accordingly. Take away: Great design are there to inspire, not to copy. Do some research on your product and on its other parameters and then design accordingly.
