A watercolor I made using heaaaavy inspiration from an Amano painting. It’s called ”Joker”, made for the Vampire Hunter series. I love some of Amano’s compositions. I just wish instead of the guys he painted on it, there would be Cecil everywhere. <3

You know, i always found Paladin Cecil's overworld sprite (on snes) a little confusing. It's like... In battle, it's pretty clear

Armor, cape and tiara. You can also see the tiara on his portrait, though with the coloring it looks like it's part of his hair if you don't pay attention

But...

I've only just realised that this red thing on his hair, on his overworld sprite is probably the tiara (you can see the gem) but i have to say that the yellow bit is a little confusing. Especially when you see his back. Is it a reflection from the light? It's a little odd to have golden reflections when your hair is lavender but what do i know. He does have golden hair on his portrait but he does not have purple hair on this one (...well, kind of on some strands. I guess that it's also due to the color limitations, not easy to have silver hair with a lot of nuances on a tiny snes sprite without just looking bland) (Or maybe his hair is actually iridescent. Nice!). (It's not like i have no imagination but the very snarky part of my brain says that there was an accident involving ketchup and mayo and no one told him he still had some on his hair haha) The inconsistancy between all of the sprites does not really help tbh. I am curious is someone knows what's up

(Side note, the bandana is fun but i actually like the tiara. I have a soft spot for tiaras.)

Reorganized the Cecil shelf to accommodate Lil Cecil’s bag, and a few new items! :D moving the flats really helped make the shelf look less cluttered as well!♥︎ so now I have a Cecil wall too! My collection is far from complete, but I’m real proud of how much it’s grown over the last few months!

I hope to get my grubby paws on some dark knight merch here soon, but I haven’t seen much at all compared to Paladin...
