22.06.17 / / the past few days have been difficult, to say the least. But it’s always comforting to know that even the universe is governed by chaos.

Tell us something about the universe 🔭 🌌
The universe gave up part of itself for you. Sunlight travelled quite literally at the speed of light specifically to reflect in your eyes.

lmao people will look for any reason to hate elias.
what they fail to see was how wonderfully skam addressed such a common running prejudice, in not just western culture, but in our eastern culture too, that women - especially woc, will always get looked down upon and shamed and hated and frowned upon and called out for being too loud, taking up too much space, partying and enjoying themselves. skam did that, they adressed that issue.
and straight away, they SHUT DOWN that issue by elias saying “i don’t wanna see people giving you hate.” he admits to the fact that boys, no matter if they are poc or not, will ALWAYS get a free pass, in both western and eastern cultures, but girls? especially woc? they don’t. as a poc boy, he knows his privilege over woc. he SAYS it, in words.
and here, elias isn’t saying to sana that she can’t be on a russbuss, he is saying to her that if and when people do start asking questions, know that you’ve got me to come to.

i think the fact that sana never gets the chance to finish her prayer parallels to isak’s locker giving him a hard time, just like isak’s locker is a metaphor of him being closeted and the fact that in the last episode his locker managed to be closed without any struggle mirrors the fact that now hes comfortable with his sexuality, we’ll get a glimpse of sana finishing her shalat (prayer) in the last episode as a metaphor of her finally being “understood” and fitting in
