Alright, time to start posting on my art tumblr again for the first time in forever.

I’m tossing up a drawing I did of my ravnos vampire cowboy oc, Gyles Santos. I’m gonna pretend this is before he was turned, just so I can get cool lighting for the sake of art. I kinda rushed the shading because I left this sitting on my pc for too long, and because I hadn’t really done much art in a while. So it’s kinda rough, but I still think it looks neat!

It’s been a really long time since I last posted here, but I’m going to try to start posting my art here again. Here’s hoping I commit to this.

Anyways, I’ve been really inspired by some art & artists I’ve seen lately to change up my art style and go a bit heavier on the stylization? I used my characters Zachariah & Hakumei as ‘test subjects’ for fulfilling this need. :)

I still obviously have a long way to go in that aspect. But I swapped out cell shading for more watercolor esque-shading for my simpler, lined art style. Meanwhile I was trying to aim for a more painterly/watercolor look for my lineless painting style? But I feel less successful on that front. I’m going to have to experiment more as I draw, so I imagine my next drawings are really going to show how I’m experimenting.

It may be almost Christmas but I’m catching up on art I haven’t posted. This pixel art was from last year when I was entering a Halloween contest for DBD. I decided to put my favorite killera as the focus of the picture. His victim is Claudette dressed up as Poison Ivy from Batman, since I thought it fit her botanist background. :)

A quick headshot I made of my character Bhaltair when I was testing out my new tablet. They’re the crown prince of their race, and they really like going out and exploring and getting to know their people.

Decided to draw my Azurite a while back, but I finally got around to finishing this picture. I love how her design came out~ I still need to come up with her powers, but I’m considering something psychic or portal related.

I drew my ever-so adorably round Tourmaline~ She’s overcooked, so she’s only slightly taller than Amethyst. With her runty size and can-do attitude, she made a perfect ally for the Crystal Gems during the rebellion, and she certainly was proud of fighting for others like her.

I can’t seem to stop making OCs based on fall or Halloween, so if you’re getting witch or fall vibes from her- that’s the intent~

I drew my Cactus Quartz gemsonas- Casy and Aggie. They’re conjoined twins, like Rutile. Rutile’s design and how Cactus quartz often has multiple points inspired me to make them a while back, and I finally got around to drawing them recently~

I’m super happy with this portrait of my Sheikah character Lokla. I need to do a fullbody drawing of her sometime- but this helped me get her facial appearance down.
