{🕮} “Powerful dark magic from another land...” Morgan mused aloud. “Well, I’ll definitely have to take a look into it. Read it a few times, try to visualize the magic, the usual deal whenever you get a new tome, as you know...” She then looked back at Severa and smirked. “Oh right, you wouldn’t know because you’re not a magic user like me.”

-Gives Morgan a Glepnir Tome she "Borrowed" from her job with Lyon-
{🕮} “Well well, what do we have here?” Morgan took a moment to flip through the pages of the tome before continuing. “This is a tome that’s not normally found in Archanea. Where did you get it? I can’t believe you actually got a thoughtful gift for me for once~”

( Stuck in the Past Sister: )
“Yeah. Maybe. But hey, I’m always second best right?” She laughed at herself for a bit. “It’s not like I’m as weak as you say, I may only heal quickly, but that’s because I chose the sword I needed over the magic you craved.”
“The fact you had to stoop to such a low level Morgan shows me what you’ve really become.” She was angry, her fury not shown in her voice, but in the fire in her eyes. “You used to be a loving and caring sister, I remember, but you were too busy trying to become what you are now, it’s almost laughable. You’re no better than mother, and you’ll die like she did, never reaching her unobtainable goals, hers was saving the world, yours is becoming perfect like father, but you’re still only human, and even fell blooded humans can be crushed.” She shot back with that line, despite Morgan trying to beat her down, her fury came through in the full force with a crushing statement.
“You’ll never be close to father’s level, and I know that I won’t be either, so I don’t try to, I try to be the best tool I can be, because that’s all I am, and that’s all I’ll be, but what are you? A fool clinging to the idea some gift makes you special? Talent only takes you so far.”
{🕮} “It’s a dog eat dog world out there.” Morgan continued to turn away from Severa, ignoring the fire in her eyes. "This world isn't one where your problems can be solved with a kind heart and a good work ethic. You'll just die faster if you allow your real feelings to get the best of you." And with that she started walking away, voice carrying down the hallway as she strolled.
"By the way, you're wrong, Severa." She raised her voice even more, still walking away toward the dungeon. "I'm already achieving my goal, which is to be as useful as possible to Father. To not let fear and attachments get in the way of doing what you must. The only one you need to show any kind of attachment to is Father. Any other bonds will just weigh you down." That was the real reason she had decided to become distant from her sister. She wouldn't allow herself to get swayed should an enemy try using her sister to get through to her.
"That sweet sister of yours from the memory that you foolishly cling to is no more. Discard that memory. Become the emotionless soldier Father wants you to be."

( Idiot Sister: )
“Ah, but if you’re striving for perfection, why’d you let me distract you so easily then? You really should get going then, so you won’t tardy father, he’s probably waiting for results, and I’ll have mine quickly. For all your intelligence, you let me lead you on.” It was all bullshit and bluster, but if she was going to be punished anyway, might as well try to go out with a bang.
“Besides, you also distracted me from the duty Father gave me, so you’re just as much to blame, so I wonder if Father will let you off so lightly, little miss favorite child.”
{🕮} “It matters not.” Morgan shrugged. "If I tarry a bit, Father won't care too much. That is, as long as he gets what he wants. And if you just happened to interfere with that, don't think that even having Fell Blood can save you. No excuse in the world will save you." There definitely was a disparity in the expectations that the Fell Dragon had between the sisters.
"Maybe if you had been born with Father's special abilities, you would have ended up the favorite. Instead, I'm the one who got the heart and the eyes. You just got the leftovers." It was a taunt being pulled out of seemingly nowhere, but Morgan wanted her sister to know her place, so she decided to hit below the belt. “Now, didn’t you say you had intel to give Father? And in spite of this, you decided to come pester me first? Talk about having your priorities backward. I wonder how many lashes that kind of incompetence will be worth..."

( Idiot Sister: )
Always. Second. Best. The thought came to her head and she grit her teeth. “Say it again, I bet you won’t.” Her glare was alight with energy, it may have been a foolish thing that she was about to do, but if she said it, Severa was going to clock Morgan and prove her wrong, show her that Severa wasn’t second best, not to her mother, not to her sister.
“You know, you’re far more like father than me, unlike you, I actually have a personality that differs from his, your intellegence isn’t yours, it’s father’s. You’ve copied him to such a point you even take his quotes word for word. How pathetic, you must strive to be like him, despite the fact you know that none of your plans are your own, you’ll never be father, and that’s why you’re by his side, you’d collapse without him.”
{🕮} “Why strive for anything less than perfection?" Morgan scoffed. "And seeing as Father is all powerful and as close to perfect as a mortal could possibly hope to achieve, straying away from his path is imperfect. Just like you.” After another giggle, she flashed a dangerous smile.
"I can't believe you intended to distract me from my work just to argue with me." She sighed. "All this time, you wanted to start a fight just so I could get behind on my work. What if I told that to Father? He wouldn't be very happy with you getting in the middle of his serious business, would he?" And there it was, the 'I'll tell Father' card. "Do you think he'd be more likely to believe me or you, by the way? Or rather, I think the real question here is do you think his punishment against you will be light or harsh today?”

( Idiot Sister: )
She became furious at her sudden shouting. “Yeah? You think you’re tough you bookworm? You can hide behind your tactics all you want, you can hide behind a book, but you wouldn’t stand a chance where I go for my missions. All your plans fall apart and it’s every man for himself, and I never fell, you’d die the second an archer locked his sights on you.” She shouted back, her anger at her sister’s condescending nature. “Unlike you, I lived in battle, I was the one who killed Lucina, I was the one who got rid of the Falchion, I was the one who made it so you could finally succeed. No more Exalts, I swear! Father treats you like the second coming of him when I’m just as strong as you if not stronger!”
{🕮} Morgan was completely unfazed by Severa’s taunts. In fact, she even started laughing at them. Several seconds were spent just cackling away until Morgan decided to speak again. "Dear Severa, do you really think that you're stronger than me? Why do you think I'm Father's right hand and not you? It's because I understand something you don't." She scoffed and turned.
"It's not about being a good fighter in a direct battle - it's about being smart enough to outwit your opponent and defeat them while simultaneously humiliating them. There may be a possibility that I'm not quite as strong as you, but what kind of assassin worth her salt is ever direct? That's the difference between you and me. You're the one who was chosen to do the dirty work because Father realizes you're too stupid to patiently work behind the scenes. You’re as disposable as any Risen." She started laughing again. "That's the difference between us - I'm smart and you're not."

( Severa: )
“Ah, yes, my superior intellect of course, which is why you’re left doing a job anyone with a club could use.” She scoffed back. “Of course, little miss mage has to be a big torturer.” She got in Morgan’s face. “I bet I can get the job done better and faster after all, I know how to break a man, just like you tried to break me.”
{🕮} “Idiot!” Morgan flicked her sister’s forehead in an attempt to make her get out of her face before shouting down at her. “You’re missing the point! I don’t break people just for the sake of breaking them, as that’s what you make it sound like we do when we torture prisoners. Until you understand that, you will never be left in charge of this kind of duty! In fact, I doubt a bonehead like you would ever understand!”

( Severa: )
“As a matter of fact I do Morgan, I do also want to help you with yours, they sounded far more difficult than mine.” She said it with a sigh as she cracked her neck. “After all, I just had to find out which one of the Grimleal was feeding information to the resistance in Valm, not exactly hard, just hang out around the carrier birds until you notice the one Grimleal double checking his corners and his back.”
{🕮} “A task certainly befitting one of your skill, surely.” Morgan scoffed. “Anyway, Father left me in charge of torturing the prisoners because he knew that I’m more than capable of extorting the information he needs from them. Unless you know your way around dark magic tomes, I would suggest you leave this to me.”

{🕮} “Well, too bad for you.” Morgan turned and started walking away from her sister. “I’m far too busy with Father’s orders. I’m pretty sure he had orders for you as well...” She stopped and turned back for a second just then. “...Have you finished those? Or are you slacking off on your duties?”

"Hey, uh, sis?" Severa came up to Morgan. "Long time no see huh...?"
{🕮} “And just what makes you think you can come up to me so casually, Severa? Do you have any important business with me? Or do you just want to ‘hang out’ like we used to?”
