Picture a day where everything is going wrong. Like no matter what you do, you just can't catch a break. Then you come home, you open the fridge, and there's a piece of pie still in there. You eat it, and it tastes amazing, which you weren't expecting on a day like this one. And you go to bed thinking, "well, today sucked, but at least I had that piece of pie". The point is that I firmly believe that no matter how awful a day I'm having, I should always be able to say I had at least one highlight of the day. And for me, that highlight will almost always be pie. But, sadly, after some serious stuff happened to me in 2017, I found out the hard way that there's some things even pie couldn't fix. So, this pie is for those days when the real thing can't.
