“Don’t touch him,” Jiang Cheng snarls. He struggles against the ropes holding him down. “Don’t you dare fucking touch him.”

Wen Chao smirks at him. “I thought we might have to break both your arms before you told us where to find him,” he tells Jiang Cheng conversationally, trailing a finger down Lan Xichen’s cheek. “But he came right here as soon as he heard that we have you. Voluntarily.” He lets out a laugh. “Jiang Cheng ah, Jiang Cheng, looks like you were a more precious find than we thought.”

“Take your filthy hands off him,” Jiang Cheng growls. He wishes they’d just broken all his bones. He would’ve never said a single thing. He would rather die by Wen Chao’s hand than to have Wen Chao touching Lan Xichen.. “You’re not fit to touch him.”

“Neither are you,” Wen Chao returns. “But I bet he lets you. You must be a pretty good bed-warmer for Lan da-shaoye for him to cherish you so, huh?”

Jiang Cheng’s blood boils, and he tugs at his binds even more. The ropes cut painfully into his skin, but he pays them no mind. He just needs to get free. As soon as he frees himself, he’s going to break Wen Chao’s neck with his bare hands.

apropos of nothing, here are some of my favorite moments from early eps of The Untamed, in no particular order

1. this lingering finger stroke. i am going to go out on a wild limb here and say that the Xiyao kids went wild over this when it first aired? and rightfully so.

2. Lan Wangji thinking “if he comes any closer, i’m going to ejaculate right in front of my brother and uncle and both their salads.”

3. Lan Xichen’s smug little smile, as he thinks “ooh i found a lively little boyfriend for Wangji!” and “shucks, guess i found an adorable little boyfriend for myself too… and he has dimples!”

“i’m sure neither of them will become the most hated man in the cultivation world and die violently for it leaving us to suffer for having loved them!”

that "women's sports aren't a refuge for mediocre male athletes" slogan is a bit funny because so far it seems that the anti-trans outrage factory is indeed a refuge for mediocre female athletes. riley gaines tied a trans woman for what, 5th place? and quit swimming. haters would say it's less about her important mission of seething about lia thomas for 500 years and moreso because posing in your swimwear for conservative audiences is simply more successful and surely pays better than being a 5th place swimmer. taylor silverman lost to children in the 7, 10 years old age range and a trans girl smaller and skinnier than her at skateboarding and her complaints about the latter's allegedly insurmountable biological predestination for doing cool tricks made her back the 3k prize money plus the extra cash prize for best trick and then some. angela carini throwing a match after receiving the first punch that left her neither injured nor even bleeding from the nose just cashed in 50 grand for kicking off a harassment campaign against an opponent with too much butch swag. the state of women's sports is so that it pays significantly better to lose and blame big trans about it, especially if you're not exactly the cream of the crop. you'd have to be neck deep in ideology to not see the obvious money trail tbh
