My name is Donald L. Arritola. My grandfather Pedro Arritola, who was a cousin of Jose Navarro, and my grandmother, Maria Uberruaga, whose uncle was Antonio Azcuenaga, were some of the earliest residents in Jordon Valley and  should be shown in your writeup of early residents of Jordan Valley. A good reference would be my book, “The Life and Recollections of John Carlos Arritola and Florence Greiner Arritola,” dated November 2010. A copy of my book is in the library at the Basque Museum in Boise and the Basque Library at the University of Nevada, Reno. Pedro Arritola was in Jordon Valley in the late 1880s and early 1890s. Also, please see “History of the Basques in the West” by Sol Silen, 1918, concerning Pedro Arritola.
