The Kai nodded softly, and lifted the two of them even further upward, eye trained on that signature, before tugging against her grip, pulling her figure close to him.

With that, he pushed off of the air, and darted forward with her in his arms. This planetoid was far more than just barren. . It seemed entirely lifeless— depressingly so.

It seemed as if there were nothing here at all, no creatures scrambling about on the surface, no insects.. not even the slightest hint of life.

And then he could see it coming into view.. a massive Wyrm, drilling a clear hole through the center of what was— at some time— probably a healthy dwarf planet.

“Bastard..

Since when do these creatures seek destruction on such a scale? For what purpose?

Is this thing the cause of such ruin?”

Zero’s eye flared with energy again.. Even if he wasn’t a naturally good-hearted individual, the Kaioshin understood his role in the universe— and it appeared that this.. thing did not.

Its power was nothing to scoff at.. wherever this creature had come from, it was clearly tough living. I mean— he’d rarely ever seen a non-humanoid with such formidable power.

It was just a shame that it wouldn’t matter..

She said, trying her best to emote herself... and struggling... But she pushed the message through. She's happy to be with him. And she isn't going to be very sane about it.. Does she actually get Zero? No. Of course not. But does she care? About him as a person? Yes. A lot. She'll do anything to proof her love. Anything to satisfy him.

The towering femme warped them to the planetoid. Clinging onto her beloved Zero, looking deep into his beautiful eye again.

"We are the future." She kissed his forehead before she gently let go of him.

"Show me, my love. . What are you up to?"

It was all so so instantaneous

Behind his eye, he hardly recognized that they’d changed landscapes entirely. The one thing he noticed was. . An unusually elevated strength.

Whatever it was, wherever it was on this planetoid, there was something with a hefty power.

Perfect.

“So you wish to see it, then?”

Zero’s teeth nearly sharpened as he grit them, launching himself a few feet in the air — It took him a few moments to centralize himself, and get a lock on this power.

One hand reached out, motioning for her to join him.

“Follow along, my love. Let the future begin now, as this battle may soon.

It’s about time I let him come out to play.”

The smirk that followed was all too familiar. It was marked with Saiyan Blood.

Surely Zero wouldn’t admit it, but that overconfident look, that geeky smile. . It was never really His. Perhaps it was time to find out why.

“You’ve always put your faith in me. Allow me to do the same.

This feeling. . I’m eager to fight. Eager to feel the vibration in my fists. . To have you witness my glory.

I don’t know why— but I feel like something within me has awoken.”

Again, there was a flash of color in his eyes; reminiscent of something, or someone. Not quite the same, more like an homage. He was prepared.

Zero paused yet again, this time, his head cocked to the side.

“How did you—? Nevermind. Of course.

Believe me, I’m alright. I believe there’s something I’ve not known yet; something about myself. Something I need to learn.”

His hand curled into a fist thoughtfully, testing its grip strength. It felt . . Weak? Like there was something more to this body he hadn’t taken advantage of.

Whatever it was, it bothered him, and it seemed to bother black, too. Perhaps he had something to learn from the both of them.

“I’ll figure this out at another time, surely.

Now— let’s go. I’d rather not dwell on this feeling, and focus on the fight ahead. I’d rather not harm any intelligent life for a test . . The specimens present on this planetoid shall suffice, don’t you think?”

Again, he reached out, offering his hand to her.

A wave of familiarity washed over Zero, as if a memory flickered into his mind. Though, not from his eyes.

“Grab a hold of me, and give me a name. . I think— I think I remember something. . A technique.

Something from when I was— When he was goku.”

The feeling passed as soon as it appeared, yet the idea remained. If Black was willing to cooperate, at least this would be useful.

This seemed to steel their resolve, almost snapping him free of whatever ill feeling he’d been struggling over. A wave of relief washed over him.

“I just knew I could count on you. I’ll explain in due time. . But for now— I can’t help but be excited!”

A spark.

Small, but noticeable. His eyes gleamed with a beautiful hue they’d never known, if just for a moment. Something surely was different.

The Kai reached into one of the folds of his uniform, and pulled his pressurized eye chamber free from its magnetic hold, fastening it to his face.

“Tahi, dear. Any known planetoids with little to no intelligent life present within the galaxy?”

He asked, uncertainly. Would she even have that kind of expansive data knowledge in the first place? Getting too used to talking to other Kai, it seems.

His hands trembled in rage, uncertain, and uncontrolled. He’d been training through meditation, versus fighting. It wasn’t as if the two weren’t in sync. . but more one was beginning to get restless.

“I realize, yes. . And I apologize if I seem cold, or even apprehensive. ‘This isn’t what we planned’ I— I feel as if Black has perhaps been driven by his Saiyan blood into a state of. . restlessness.”

One hand reached upward, landing softly against her cheek, a thumb caressing her cheek.

“I feel that he— I, am desperate for a fight. The blood that flows through me is calling out, begging for action. I feel I may need to get off this. . Planet.

Zero pauses for a moment, reeling again from the shock to his lips. Granted, it wasn’t unexpected, just strangely familiar. Something he would have to handle later.

“I feel so. . Drained. It’s like— a part of me is missing. Black has been silent. . Ever since the last outburst.”

The Deity sighs, shaking his head.

“No matter. Just a little fatigue is all.”

Once still, yet stirred. Like a cup of tea at rest, only to have its leaves shook to the surface. One silver orb creeps open, lazily turning toward the ground.

The grass below him parts, as his session of meditation concludes. The God quietly raised to his knees, then to his feet, eye fixated on one direction. That noise. . That horrible noise.

It had been a long time, since his personal genocides. The wars. . The core breakers.

Atoning for these horrific actions would never come, as the cost was too great to justify his action. Though, if he had to be realistic, it wasn’t of any concern. There was nothing more to be do—

Zero stared into the distance, pushed against the terrain, and launched into the sky. His magnificence concentrated into a dense speck in his palm, eye focused on its target below.

It seemed to be. . A large militant group of humans, conducting an exercise. Of course, earth was infested with war-obsessed beings. . No— populated. He had to watch his temper.

Turning to face away, yet another shell soared through the air, impacting with the ground below.

“Tch. . Rng—!

QUIET.”

In an instant, the dense orb left his palm, and impacted with machinery. A decreasingly impatient commandment takes root, spreading like a virus throughout the machine. Zero’s voice barely raised above a shout, yet his judgement was felt for miles around.

Without warning, the ground beneath him shifted from beautiful scenery, to a blinding white light, followed by a strong blast of dust, wind, and earth.
