I'm so confused why people are saying that nothing happens with Ty and Annie or they're super upset about just getting crumbs again for their development. But I can live off crumbs, these crumbs are crumby and I'm living for it.

The longing looks, the smiles, the hug, the HAND HOLD!!! Ooooh, I'm living for it!!!

Is it a slow burn? 100% Will I die if season 4 doesn't happen? 1000% But I will survive off these crumbs for as long as I can

Y’all are sleeping on Ms Marvel and I just think that’s a damn shame. It’s such a breath of fresh air after all the grim dark stuff that’s been released lately.

Is it perfect rep? I can’t answer that as I’m not a Pakistani teenager of immigrant parents, but I was a teenager who wished to be a superhero have magic, and I also struggled with parental expectations against what I wanted for myself. 

It’s such a great show. The art direction is fantastic. The story so far is engaging. Please give it a chance.

When I first read Percy Jackson in the 4th grade, I was obsessed. I had hated reading up till that point, but my teacher read it in class and I enjoyed it enough to pick it up and read it for myself and have been engrossed in them and reading ever since. Rick Riordan's books fill my book case and Percy, Annabeth, and Grover will always hold a special place in my heart.

Now I'm a little weird when it comes to Halloween because I only like dressing up as characters who look like me (white, blond, female) I don't know why I do it but I pretty much always have: Cinderella, Aurora, Tris, Wendy, Barbie, Supergirl, you get the picture.

When I tell you I loved Annabeth because I saw myself as her, living this exciting life, I freaking mean it. I loved the idea of being able to imagine I was her, of dressing up as her for Halloween, and relating to the "dumb blonde" stereotype she dealt with.

Now when I tell you that I love that they cast Leah Jeffries as Annabeth in the new Percy Jackson show, I also freaking mean it. I haven't seen her act in much tbh, and I don't know a whole lot about her besides what Rick wrote about her on the announcement, but I fully support this casting decision. She seems perfect for the role and I think that if anyone should know who is perfect for the character, it should be the one who actually created them in the first place (aka. the author) so I'm not complaining.

Will I not see one of my favorite characters who I grew up with exactly the way I envisioned her on screen? Yes. Will I watch and love her performance anyway? Yes. I'm not losing a role model, she's still a blond, white girl in the books. Just now other little girls who don't have role models like that can benefit from the beauty that is Annabeth Chase.

They can see a girl who looks like them be smart and strong and be someone they can look up to. And honestly I have no issue with that. If you do, you're a fucking racist who should just keep your mouth shut cause no one cares about your shitting opinion.

Like, I know that Heartstopper is amazing (the graphic novels) but I'm so happy I only just found out about them and read them this past week because if I had read them ages ago I don't think I would be able to make it until the shows release. Even now with only 5 days left, I'm struggling. I love that the author also wrote the script for the show because it is going to be AMAZING as well. I CAN NOT WAIT!!

The thing I love about Kate and Anthony's story (one of them at least) is the fact that at Lady Danbury's soiree Anthony tells Edwina that he feels actions speak louder than words and that words are hollow. But then, when his proposal to Kate goes awry and she says no (because he's counting on his actions speaking for him), he must find his words and TELL her how he feels about her and why he wishes to marry her so that she can truly understand him.

I think it is a growth in him that he chooses to be honest and express his feelings rather than depending purely on his actions and I'm here for it.

I watched an edit of Penelope and Colin and I just realized that Colin saying THAT at the end of the season will help Pen move beyond him next season. When Eloise was speaking to Penelope at the wedding about the not knowing the other person's feelings being the worst, you can see how Penelope feels the same way about Colin. Her now knowing his "feelings" will allow her to move on, maybe look for other suitors and act as more than just someone that is in love with him, after all isn't that what happens in RMB as well? When she calls him out on stuff and they argue and he realizes things (I haven't read it in a while, but from what I remember this plays a part in their story)

I'm incredibly excited for next season now and am looking forward to seeing how they further develop Polin. I hope they have Pen act angry with Colin and when he asks what is wrong she throws his words back in his face and he recognizes he messed up 🤞

The fact that Criminal Minds is getting renewed or revived or whatever is such a testament to how great the actors are, even the one episode actors who are the victims and the murderers. I also love the fact that they didn't make the team have interpersonal drama amongst other members of the team much throughout its run. Though I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Luke and Garcia in this new season!!

After THE kiss, Annie thinks Ty doesn't like her based on his actions and his avoidance of her (even though we know those actions were because he does like her and is scared/unsure) and then Ty thinks Annie doesn't like him based off the fact that she said THE kiss meant nothing (even though she only said that because she was hurt). Then they both dug in, with Ty dating CeCe so no one thinks he actually likes Annie and Annie avoiding Ty as much as she can thus providing us with the angst.

I can't wait for it all to blow up in their faces!!!!

Knowing now that Annie is in canon Ty’s first love and ‘‘kindergarten crush”, every scene in season one where he looks panicked about Annie’s potential feelings for him, is now heart aching instead of confusing, because now we know he looked terrified not because of lack of feelings, but because he really thought he was over her and then she kissed him, and then she said it meant nothing, and ignored him for like most of the school year, my poor baby boy 😭

real talk though, i really wish annie had more of a storyline in the show that wasn’t about boys or her parent’s.
