Yes, I whale to an extent (like how I did to Jalter), but that’s besides the point. I expect to suffer, so I put in suffering to get suffering, and if that suffering doesn’t reward me I go home, suffering.

But when the people you want come home there’s profit, regardless of how much you suffered to put in to the game, as long as you have nice things the suffering is worth it.

My Old Merric (and his Ninja) rise from the depths!

Showing off my Improved Merric build, and a couple of other things with my streaming/recording software.

I’ve had this Merric and Kagero since the game started while rerolling, when I somehow pulled those two and a Peri along side them (I really hope Peri get’s an update, she needs one), they’ve been sitting in the back for a while and it’s nice to see Merric rise to the occasion against Flier Emblem.

Merric is a good unit for Close Counter, due to his high defense, and pairs well with countering fliers, as the video shows. When buffed (whenever I can get everyone’s skills up to par) he can reach a decent 40 DEF upon enemy turn, which leads to some nice baiting.

Vantage ensures first strike on anything Blue or Flying

Spur Res is a free one, hoping for Even/Odd Def wave to come out to boost the amount of Def he can get.

Bonfire pairs well with his enemy phase defense.

I’m not particular for the IV’s of these characters, minus the Tailtiu, I plan on making this team slowly better throughout further days. I just wanted to show off the Merric Update.

If the recording quality is an issue, it’s because I’m testing the things out with my system and OBS, the wallpaper is made by me.
