the treatment of animals and the progression of farming them for meat and products made from them, are in no way humane...I completely agree that its terrible, but people who become vegan cause they want to save animals wont help in any way, if you go completely vegan you should know that the food you eat still cause animal death, your just not eating the animal...lemme explain if you get your veggies from a local farm not feeding into big businesses, and only order organic non-gmo, clean food from that farm, it would cost more animal life than going and getting a steak, cause that steak was from 1 cow, anything that would try to eat the veggies that you bought, would be killed, if a rabbit or small animal tried to steal food from the farm, it would be killed to stop food being stolen...and the fact that there are groups and people in general who care about animals IS a 1st world privilege, because even if you’re homeless and begging on the street, there are places you could get food and water, not every country has that, in some they eat anything that can be cooked, like dog, cat, lizard, even big spiders (Cambodia Fried Spider), its a gift to care about animals, but no matter what you eat, an animal died somewhere along the way before you bought it...the only way to eat without animal death is, grow your own food and only eat that...nothing else

I fell into a fuckin half hour coma, well holding a lizard

I was laying down holding a lizard, she was laying on my hand, I got tired I went on my side, my eyes got heavy...I thought “well hey, if I close my eyes the worse that’ll happen is I have a nap” I close my eyes, feelin like I was goin to have a nap, then somewhere along THE FUCKING WAY, I stopped being able to move my body, open my eyes, or feel MY FUCKING LIZARD IN MY HAND, not only did I think I wouldn't wake up, MY TOP PRIORITY WAS THE LIZARD...IF SHE CRAWLED OFF MY HAND IN MY COMA, SHE COULD FALL OFF THE COACH OR HIDE, I got so fuckin scared for HALF AN HOUR, I was able to count from 0 to 60 full seconds, around 10 times after I gave up moving, I didn't wake up, I just gained movement again, I SLAPPED MY EYELIDS OPEN SO FUCKIN FAST, IT HURTS TO THINK ABOUT IT, and I almost cried while my lizard was pissed at me for waking her up cause she didn't leave my hand, I just couldn't feel her on my hand, NOW I GOT GRUMPY BEARDED DRAGON AND IM TRAUMATIZED BY ME LOVING HER SO DAMN MUCH TO NOT FORGET THIS
