The best thing we can do, politically speaking, is let Obamacare explode. It’s exploding right now.
President Trump said on Friday after the GOP health care bill went down.
The law has its problems — but it is far from “exploding,” using any reasonable definition of the word. Here is a quick rundown of where the Affordable Care Act stands right now: what’s going well and what’s not-so-great.

Now, as adherents of the great and terrible AP Stylebook — which also eschews the Oxford comma — we must admit the moral of this story flies in the face of everything (or one thing) NPR’s own sentences stand for.
But we offer these stories as a reminder that every punctuation mark deserves a fair hearing, a glimpse into the glories of grammar(,) and a quiet rebellion against the tyranny of copy editors everywhere.*
*Just a joke, NPR copy desk! Please don’t break out the red pen.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.

He knew when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God.

One day you will ask me which is more important? My life or yours? I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.

Can we talk about the part of mental illness where you constantly have to second guess and question your perception of reality because you can never be sure that what you experience/perceive to be happening is actually happening:
“Is that person angry at me or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Is that person avoiding me  or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Is this situation dangerous or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Does that person have bad intentions or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Am I bothering that person or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Did that person ignore me or is my perception of reality distorted?”
“Does that person dislike me or is my perception of reality distorted?”
