Stop telling yourself that the grass is greener on the other side, because it’s not. It is greener where you water it. So take control of your life and start watering your own pastures and grow your own greener grasses.

I’ve found a new favourite artist!
Gerard Geer utilises a combination of naturalistic articulation of animal specimens and amalgamations of interspecific forms to create fantastical hybrid creatures and intricate landscapes.

The Mourioche is a horse-like creature found in Brenton in England. The Mourioche is said to look like a normal horse except that is has two huge, muscular human-like arms sticking out of the sides of its body. The Mourioche is said to be a shapeshifter being able to transform into almost anything however whatever it transforms into retains its strong forearms. The Mourioche loves to hunt people at night by trying to lure as many people as it can on to its back where then drags them down into the water similar to that of the Kelpie. The Mourioche also loves to prank people by wrestling unsuspecting people and throwing them into ditches with its powerful arms.

i just learned that the 5th most common animal found to have rabies since 1978 in my state (after bats, skunks, cats, and foxes) is…. horses.
The idea of a rabid horse trying to attack is a very, very scary one tbh

That rabbit/hare post is messing me up. I’d thought they were synonyms. Their development and social behavior are all different. They can’t even interbreed. They don’t have the same number of chromosomes. Dogs, wolves, jackals, and coyotes can mate with each other and have fertile offspring but rabbits and hares cant even make infertile ones bc they just die in the womb. Wack.
