馃攽馃攽Please list one or two below.馃攽 Name a book that changed your life. 馃 I've always loved reading 馃摉. I was the kid under the blanket with the flashlight. Turning it off quick when mom checked in. She didn't play when it was time for bed. I went on to study creative writing in high school. One of my favorite books, I still think of today, #houseonmangostreet. It's about a Latina immigrant family, from the point of view of the daughter Esperanza. She talked about how the her dad didn't speak much English, so he'd order the same meal everyday 'cause that's all he knew how to say. I love that book because I am an immigrant myself. I was 13/14 when my family came to the United States. There were so many similarities between this Latina family and mine. I felt connected to Esperanza. She knew my story. This book changed my life because it made me feel like I was the only one trying to find their teenage ways transplanted to a whole nother country and culture. Esperanza was my friend. 馃馃摉 another book that really resonated with me is #YesterdayICried by Iyanla Vanzant. I was in my 20s when I read that. We have a similar story. What I learned from it was that...everyday, every struggle has a lesson in it. From that point on I looked at my everyday struggles as a teacher. Instead of crying, dying, or giving up I'd ask myself "what's the lesson learnt?" And then move on with that in my toolkit. 馃馃摉 books are great for people who don't have a lot of family or support. In there you can find your character. In there you can find your story. In there you can find hope. 馃馃摉 What books have made the biggest impact on your life? What books do you continue to go back to time after time?

Are you willing to let it all go and only keep that which truly makes you happy??? 馃 I'm so proud of my closet progress. Since my son is now off on his own and in college I get to turn his room into my closet. He also said, that's what mom's do when they don't want their kid to move back in. Lol. I told him he could sleep in the former closet. 馃憦 but yeah. So, it's not all the way I want it...all blogger fancy and stuff. But it'll do for now. As far as decluttering. 馃馃摉 I'm using the #KonMariMethod. Which is a really aggressive way of tidying up. You pile liked items in the center of the room. Keep only what brings you joy. Donate or discard the rest, after thanking it for its service to you. She has a method for papers, books, socks, even how to fold your clothes. 馃 I enjoy the process because as aggressive as it is...it's very delicate and sacred, and will save you tons of time finding things and getting out the door. 馃摉馃 the book 馃摎 is on amazon. also an audible version on YouTube. 馃 to be honest, I've been working on this for about two years. 馃憖 well, you see, what had happened was...I got a ton of stuff. Being in the military, and not wanting to move my children frequently, I would often go on assignments elsewhere solo. We call that Geographical Bachelor/Bachelorette. So, I ended up with doubles of things. 馃 then there was the unpacking many boxes because I knew I'd be moving again soon. Every time I talk to my family and they ask me what I'm doing, and I say decluttering they are usually like "still?". But, yeah. I'm DECLUTTERING 22 years of assignments and re assignments and really getting reacquainted with my stuff. 馃 But it worked out because I was able to dress my son's apartment. And recently, a disadvantaged lady with four children moving into a trailer. 馃 as far as the future, I want to be light on my feet. 馃攽 So, I thank my STUFF, for its service to me and country. 馃攽 And I release all ties. 馃攽 And am expecting to receive that which I WANT. These are basic principles of manifestation. Give, receive. 馃 so, let me ask you this, what can you let go out of your life today that may be hampering your progress??? - kj

Life is short. She played hard. 馃 #ripmakevajenkins @bizimpact....She was fatally shot at her home in upscale Lake Worth after writing on social media that "I'm in awe of how far I've come." She overcame homelessness and went on to earn a six figure salary through entrepreneurship. I know that this is a sad moment but the inside of me is celebrating her life. In my birth country, Jamaica 馃嚡馃嚥, we celebrate 馃帀 for a whole week long when someone pass on in honor of their life. In reflecting on her story, and maybe because I was a soldier, when my time comes let it be after I've accomplished something major like she did. She could have quit a million times over. But she kept going. How sweet it must have been before someone stole that from her. How proud she must have been when she looked back and saw how far she'd come. I'm glad she had "that moment," that moment when she knew she'd won...that she'd made it...that she made an impact...before sunset. You made an impact. #salute condolences to her family.

Ask yourself...is this real, or am I being overly dramatic?? Is it a mountain or is it a molehill? You'll probably find that your situation is a molehill that you've have piled emotional, and psychological dirt upon. Fear, doubt, shame, victim mentality, anxiety, depression ALL that piled on top of each other. Take a moment and breathe. Read the Serenity prayer. There are three options. Accept, change, know the difference.

Send this to your bill collector. Let me know if it works. LOL. 馃 but seriously, I teach women how to negotiate difficult situations and how to walk away with what they want. On their terms. Mindset shift, you have the POWER to get what you want. PAY RAISE OR CONTRACT.
