actually    ,    charon    used    to    be    able    to    talk    and    breathe    unlabored    breaths    .    since    they    bear    no    aspect    and    spend    a    lot    of    time    around    recently    deceased    souls    ,    they    are    considered    an    “    unwhole    “    god    and    thus    age    .    they    cannot    die    of    old    age    ,    but    they    are    rotting    .    they    never    really    used    their    gift    of    speech    ,    as    is    ,    but    over    time    their    flesh    rotted    enough    to    completely    take    the    ability    from    them    .    their    figure    is    clad    in    shadow    and    mostly    covered    as    to    not    scare    the    deceased    any    more    than    they    already    do    .
