LONGLINE
Ever since, I always wanted to challenge myself to get into the latest trend in the metro, this year weâve noticed a gradual move towards trends that are in many ways the complete opposite of the clean and fitted silhouette that weâve all religiously embraced. Admit it, oversized and longline garments are having a moment, and itâs proving quite convincing (At least to me. LOL).
So yea, I got myself this longline t-shirt from Forever 21 Men and I must say, at first, it appears to be difficult to wear and pull off but I think I made it work. I went into a sporty streetwear style, the longer length is barely noticeable (because Iâm wearing a dark green shorts), but it acts as a clean, simple base layer and creates a slimmer, elongated torso.
So hereâs how I rocked my longline t-shirt:
To all the guys out there who wants to try on a long line or âtallâ t-shirt, I did some research for you (Thank you internet. HAHA) and it wouldnât be difficult for you to wear it if you follow a few basic styling guidelines:
This is a strictly casual look. Donât try to incorporate long length tees or shirts into a formal or smart-casual ensemble. Classic cuts should be preferred when dressing up, as opposed to this more contemporary, fashion-forward silhouette. Sometimes it really is better to ignore fashion altogether and side with timeless style.
Donât oversize everything. Long length and oversized tops work best when paired with slim or skinny legwear to create a contrast. Oversizing every part of your outfit puts you on a fast track back to the 1990s, and not in a good way.
Simplicity is key. A side zip or scoop neck should be the only form of detailing that appears on your tall tee. Skip the baroque patterns and extravagant typography that will undoubtedly be applied to many items in an effort to appear âstreetâ. Stick to plain colours and let the length make the statement â thereâs no need to overcomplicate things.
Wear with confidence. We wax lyrical about how crucial confidence is to good style, but this applies double when weâre talking about statement pieces â and longline clothing is definitely a statement. If youâre going to second guess your wardrobe choice or be constantly pulling the hemline up so that the top doesnât look as long, then this absolutely isnât a trend for you.

The Niño Franco - Mesh
I am never a fan of buying stuff through an online store as I always wanted to check the item I wanted for myself, especially when it comes to clothing because of course, you have to check the quality of the cloth used for that specific shirt or pants and that kinda stuff. However, I came across this online shop owned and managed by a local designer from Davao and he sells the coolest shirt there is, he also sells tailored shorts and some jackets and a lot more.
When I saw his butterfly mesh t-shirt design, it has already caught my attention, I mean, I thought of buying it immediately because the shirt is just dope. So, I sent a viber message to order one, thank God, he responded so quickly, and in a week, I already got the shirt. (Easy breezy shopping! Not bad for my first order.)
I wanted to share with you guys what I got and how I styled it. As you may already have known, I have always been a laid back kind of person, so getting this shirt excites me very much. I decided to pair the shirt with just a clean short because the shirt is already a bomb, also paired it with my love, (LOL) Stan Smith VULC from Adidas and a cap from Topman. Â Â
Here it is:
Today we expect our clothes not only to look sensational but also to performâand mesh does. The material's narrowly spaced openings allow air to pass through, keeping you cool and dry. What a godsend in our increasingly hot and humid summers (take that, global warming!).

For the information of everyone, I got the shirt from an online IG shop under @NINOFRANCO.PH, try to check his items and I know youâll love it. The owner can be reached through email ([email protected]) and text message (09086098762). You may also want to check his portfolio through this link:

CVG Fusion
It's been awhile since I updated this page and yes, I must say, I got caught up with work and not having so much time to even think about posting and wait there's more, the photos used are my not-so-recent photos.
So here's the inspiration behind this outfit. The company where I'm currently employed for 4 years got us into something they call "FUSION", it is a party where everyone from the company is invited, they blasted an email telling us about stuff to wear during the party, and yes, I was confident that I can pull off an outfit that would match the theme - Coachella.
Since it's the Coachella vibe that they want us to pull off, I thought of the comfiest and the chillest that I can wear, who wouldn't be comfortable with this combo? I mean, hello? This combo? Lol
So yea, I wore a Penshoppe tank top that has some colors in it and paired it with a jogger pants and my all time favorite Nike Roshe Run. I must say, this is the chillest of all.

My kind of style!
So, this is my first entry on my blog. I mean, I thought of taking serious photos before posting but I cannot wait and I thought it's fine if it's not an awesome one.Â
Here we go, I have always been a laid back kind of person, I am not into things that takes time and preparation to wear them (In short, tamad. LOL)
I'm always fine with just a shirt, shoes and a pants on, as long as I feel good about what I am wearing.Â
What I'm wearing is a Mossimo top, F&H Joggers and a Nike Roshe Run. This ensemble is the coolest when they're together. It looks sporty yet comfy. I think I'm missing one piece here, a baseball cap. Lol
Anyway, the pictures I will be posting are not the latest photos and you might be seeing them on my Instagram (@yourgwago), that's because I still have to ask my friend to help me with the shoot.Â
I hope you enjoyed reading. I will be more active in posting some more. Please feel free to send me comments about this look.
See you around!
