I needed to have a thermal mug to use in the mornings for my Nespresso machine. I was using a double walled glass mug but it didn't keep it hot. I would also put it in the microwave to get it hotter. I can now make two pods and add form and with the lid it will stay hot for hours. I also don't have to worry about spilling it as I did several times at my desk and in the kitchen. I've been looking for a cup to travel to work with in the morning for my hot coffee or tea. This is the perfect size, design was exactly how it looks online and not 1 leak! I love these cups! I have had the big 40oz water bottle since May and had been wanting a yeti type mug cup and went with this one because of the price and leak resistant lid and it being 12oz. I love it!! It says it doesn’t fit in cup holders but my car has oversized cup holders so I knew it wouldn’t be an issue (the water bottle also does not fit in standard cup holders but does in my car which is a Honda hrv). I even did the DQ blizzard turn upside down with it full of hot coffee to test it and nothing spilled out. I love this mug! I haven't put my coffee in the microwave once since receiving it! It stays plenty hot for me even with the lid cap open. I received my 24oz mug on Sunday and hand really like it. It holds my coffee very hot for hours. I was skeptical of buying it and I didn't want an aluminum mug. Just what we were looking for in a coffee mug. Keeps your coffee hot/warm for hours. The only problem is if you put the coffee right in from the brewer it’s to hot to drink for at least an hour. It works well at keeping my coffee warm. I didn't check to see if it was leakproof, but with the screw-on lid I'm sure it will be. It is very light, being aluminum, and the square handle easy to hold. Time will tell how durable the cup is. Great for camping, the beach or other excursion.
