BYTE: Write your vows in blood! v1.3

A new build of BYTE is out now with an all new rendering system! This system will render the game at a 4:3 aspect ration and half-res on higher resolutions to ensure that the dithering detail is visible and easy to appreciate. The UI is still full-res to ensure text readability, though.

It also has all new camera angles! As part of an ongoing project to introduce more cinematic camera angles to the cutscenes, some scenes will now have cinematic angles in them!

Still in the works but BYTE is working on a new rendering system (finally got a grip on the entire unity rendering process) and I’m now able to render the game at half res and a 4:3 aspect ration while retaining the high res detail in the ui

BYTE has another update and this one's pretty cool!

In addition to assorted bug fixes, BYTE has all-new character portraits! In an effort to create a more cohesive visual style for BYTE, all eight recurring characters have character portraits updated and stylized to look like medieval woodcut prints but spooky.

New Build!!!!

A new build for BYTE is out now! This build has a handful of bug fixes and should make BYTE much easier to play from start to finish!

I'm also hiding the Mac build for now because it's not up to the level of quality that I would want it at. I'm happy to share it with people but I don't want it just hanging around on the itch page.
