Hello~ I don't know if you are still writing Vanity in the Third Degree, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely love it and I also wanted to ask if it was alright if I left an extremely long comment on ao3. Ahaha, I know it sounds kind of stupid to ask, but I just wanted to make sure first because I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable if I did. And also, this is kind of late, but Happy late New Years! I hope 2017 will be a great year for you! (●´∀｀●)☆

As for Vanity in the Third Degree, I do love it but I’m not writing more, and I don’t think I’ll write more in the future? I still love Durarara but I’m not very active in the fandom anymore, and I also wasn’t getting a lot of feedback on it. I also had planned Vanity to be somewhat long, and I don’t currently have the energy to keep a long fic going, especially for an old fandom. Maybe one day I’ll pick it up again if I’m looking to return to something dark and classic,, until then, I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it! 💕💕💕

What Keith finds surreal is the way that Lance, even when possessed, is still somewhat Lance. Maybe he is amplified. Maybe it’s not true “possession” at all, but rather an infection as the Druid had called it. A corruption, a dark force taking Lance’s traits and dialing them higher and back around into the negatives — speed, agility, sharp intelligence, but a stabbing wit and a penchant for bragging with a side of bitter, vengeful soreness at the thought of losing.

In a way, he’d somewhat come to like those traits in Lance, but not like this.
