Juliet: So, at the risk of seeming totally cliche, what are your plans for after high school?

Calvin: Well, I don’t have the most stellar grades like you Whitaker kids, so I’m thinking of joining the military after graduation. 

Juliet: Oh wow, that’s a big decision??

Calvin: It’s the best way I can think to make my mark on this world, kid. What about you?

Juliet: I want to be a vet! I’ve always loved animals and really want to just be around them all the time

Calvin: ha, even cats? Those things are actually portals to hell

Juliet: Then you haven’t met the right cat yet, Fields.

Their food came shortly after and the pair continued their light banter and easygoing conversation. It was a good date, even if when it was time for Juliet to go home all she got was a quick hug on the front porch. (maybe because Dad was watching from the window)

Calvin: You think you could handle me in a bball match? I won’t go soft on you like I do on your brother 

Juliet: (laughing) Oh I think I can take you. I’ve been beating those buffoons since I learned how to throw a ball. You don’t seem like you’re holding back when you play with Ed though?

Calvin: Just you wait little J. You’ve got a big storm coming

Juliet: (smiles) Can’t wait.

Once the waiter had come and gone, the pair had nothing to hide behind, so they did what they did best: teasing each other and telling jokes.

Juliet made eye contact with Calvin, who waved her over to come and join him. 

Calvin: wow Jules… you look beautiful

Juliet: (flirting) I guess you clean up well yourself there Fields

In an attempt to hide her blushing, Juliet stuck her nose in her menu. Calvin did the same.

Calvin: so…. I hear the garlic noodles here are heaven? 

Juliet: oh yeah? I suppose I should give them a try then

It was time for Juliet’s date with Calvin! She walked into the restaurant and saw him seated nearby. A hostess offered to seat her, but Juliet told her she had someone waiting for her, smiling at Calvin, who looked a bit like a nervous wreck.

~ Monday Evening, Old Salt House Cafe in San Myshuno ~

Alexa had her first kiss!!

Alexa and Elliot waited for the competition to finish; they won!

Elliot looked at Alexa longingly. She is amazing, he thought.

Alexa: *feeling him staring* What’re you looking at, Rivers?

Elliot: Lex, you’re something special

Alexa: *blushes* Thanks El…

Their harmony surprised Alexa; she didn’t realize Elliot could carry a tune! She knew she could get him to sing, but for them to sound decent? They had the competition in the bag.

Elliot was reluctant to sing, of course, but singing with Alexa was different. He couldn’t help but feel her energy and her passion for music flow through him. Soon Elliot joined in on the duet, and the fellow karaoke-goers stopped what they were doing to watch the pair sing.

The couple ordered some drinks and went to cozy up on a couch near the bar. The sound of music all around her made Alexa quiver with excitement. She was going to get El to do some karaoke (He didn’t know that yet though…)

Alexa: Now that we got you in here, I’d like to go win this karaoke competition that’s going on. *Alexa sees the look on Elliot’s face and laughs* what! Come onnnnnn, I’m not taking no for an answer

Seeing that cute pout on Alexa’s face, Elliot just couldn’t bring himself to say no.

Elliot: Ha, fine. But you’re doing the heavy lifting. And if we win, I get a kiss!

Alexa: Oh look, that one karaoke place!

Elliot: You literally couldn’t pay me enough to sing

Alexa: Ha, try me! Come on, let’s at least get something to drink. It’s hot in this part of the city

~ Late Afternoon, Waterside Warble  in the Spice Market ~

Whilst visiting an Arts school in San Myshuno, Alexa ran into Elliot Rivers. The pair walked around the Spice Market, eventually ending up in front of the Waterside Warble.

Arlo was sick, but Juliet came to the rescue to heal her kitty.

The pair continued the banter, and Juliet grew more at ease. Sensing this, Calvin took a deep breath and made his move.

Calvin: so… Juliet…

Juliet: uh oh Fields, you’re calling me by my actual name. What’s up?

Calvin: I was just wondering, would you want to grab dinner with me sometime? After I reclaim my superiority in MSR, of course

Juliet: *laughs* oh right! *deep breath* yeah, that sounds cool!

In the back of her mind, Juliet wondered what this date meant to him. What did he have with the girl in the picture? Was it over? 

Meanwhile, her heart was betraying her by doing backflips and spouting butterflies.

On the other side of the party, Juliet was eating at the Fletcher’s bar. She heard footsteps coming from the doorway and looked up to see Calvin’s smiling face looking at her. Her heart hammered in her chest.

Calvin: Hey Jules… is this seat taken? wink

Juliet: Oh hey Calvin… no it’s free.

Calvin: you okay little J? You seem a little down?

Juliet didn’t want her crush to think she was freaking out over a picture, so she pasted on her best attempt at a smile.

Juliet: I’m good! Just looking forward to our rematch in MySims Racing ;)

Calvin: Oh c’mon Jules, you know I just had to let you win! We’ll see who has the real skill soon enough
