Update: Started new job and things picked up fast. I work as a Mental Health Counselor and the clinic is currently down four clinicians. Needless to say, my caseload has been hectic.
Slowly but surely, Im trying to get active again, but might need a little bit more time. Thanks everyone for sticking with me. I have no intention of abandoning this muse, I promise.
Just to let everyone know, I’ve been pretty busy for the past two weeks. I just got notice that the counseling agency where I completed my internship wants to hire me, so the wife and I are in the process of moving across the country to return to my hometown. The last couple weeks have consisted of packing along with the in-law’s house (in which we’re staying for our visit) is being renovated, so it’s been a bit hectic.
That being said, we leave on Tuesday and I start my job on Feb 1. Therefore, this blog will be put on semi-hiatus for the time being until we get back into the swing of things and get settled.
Most of my activity will be on my main blog, which is Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss. If you want to reach me (or if you’re interested in interacting with that muse), that would be the best place. Sorry about this but with all of the chaos it’s hard for me to focus on more than one blog at the moment.
I have NO intention of abandoning this blog, I’m just letting you know that activity may be severely limited for the recent foreseeable future. Thanks everyone! Hope to be back soon!
#Reblogging this as it still applies#getting used to a new job and getting back into the swing of things#outofhumanity#activity update

☾~ With the demeanor of the other softening, Zero's hand relaxed. Drooping lazily from Bloody Rose's resting pace down to his side, he own posture mirrored that of his tracker. The woman before him usually wasn't one to cause trouble, that much was true, but he never ruled out the fact that any of these monsters could turn whenever they so felt like it.
“Going for a stroll?” his lips curled into a smirk, the lie was almost too ridiculous to be true. One thing he learned about the other by simple observation was that she was one to keep her calm and remain unphased by her surroundings. It was almost funny to him that she had concocted such a bogus alibi for her actions.
“Last I checked, people usually stuck to the road when they were going for strolls. Unless I missed the memo where a leisurely walk changed to entail hiding in the shadows...?”
zero.
Acutely aware of his hand in proximity to the weapon he carried, her body posture remained relaxed, the vampire completely unfazed as cerulean irises held his gaze. Naturally disinterested, uncaring by nature, the aristocrat had no desire to make an offensive move toward him, it would be too much of a hassle otherwise, and Rima knew she wouldn’t like the consequences if she did. She carried little fear of the hunter before her – Rima never bothered him, and in turn, the sentiments were seemingly returned. She was aware he could be a bit hasty at times, perhaps, but seeing as they didn’t usually so much as cross paths, she didn’t typically see him as a threat, though she knew he could be when provoked. That jab at her pride though, that pricked at her already teetering patience – ❛ I was not hiding in the bushes, I was going for a stroll. ❜

☾~ Listening intently to the blonde before him, he nodded his head slowly. In all the excitement, he had nearly forgotten that he was indeed the leader of the hunter society now. “Yeah, why?” his tone was anxious, eager almost, “Is there something we could do to help you? We'll do anything we can, just say the word.”
It was all too good to be true. A cure within reach? The silver haired Vampire could only think of all of the humans this would bring hope too. All of those poor doomed individuals on the inevitable path of becoming a level E. Once upon a time, Zero faced the same fate. He would do anything in his power to save others from such a bleak future.
“I found Lord Kaname’s researches. He was close to the formula himself, but he was missing a few things. I managed to put the pieces together. Well, I hope so, anyway.” Hanabusa leaned back into the couch. He was visibly taking his ease in the company of Zero. Finally, a common ground. “I spent many years trying to validate the formula and it came out positive every single time. I’m almost one hundred percent sure that my calculations are fair.” He’d hardly had any rest since his research began. Although he was a vampire, the dark circles under his puffy eyes made him look old and tired. “Kiryuu Zero, I know we weren’t always on the right foot, but -” He hesitated and sighed, jaws tightening. His whole body rested against the armrest and a hand came up to rub the puffy flesh under his shut eyelids. “You’re the leader of the hunter organization, right?”

☾~ “ !!!!-” Zero's facial expression turned to astonishment, feeling like a lightning bolt struck him. All of the hairs on his body stood on end and he froze, his mind needing a moment to process what he had just heard.
The... cure...?
He couldn't even believe it. All this time, he knew Aido was working on something, but he always considered it a fool's errand. A cure for vampirism after thousands of years? It sounded like it should be impossible.
“You're fucking with me... aren't you? You have to be joking with me. After all this time, you've actually....done it?”
He didn’t bother to sit down. His impatience didn’t grant him relaxation for his body remained rather tense. “No, no. We don’t need your services in that matter. There is something far more important that I must discuss with you, alone”, he sighed and finally seated himself on an opposing couch. His body shifted forward, elbows resting on his knees with his fingers intertwined in front of him. His eyes maintained their focus on his. “I found the cure.” He stated blandly. “Well, not really the cure, but I’m scarily close to it. I was able to figure out the formula.”
#RPers have been filtering in and out but there are a few who seem to stick around :)#arrogantlycompassionate

☾~ Zero shook his head, he knew the headmaster wouldn't allow such bold actions. “As much as I hate to admit it, Vampires are here to seek solitude from danger. You running off playing hero would only cause trouble.”
He reached his hand inside his coat and gently removed Bloody Rose from her resting place, “Besides, it's not your job. Not only am I a school guardian, I'm also a full fledged member of the hunter society. It's best to leave this to the professionals, avoid unnecessary bloodshed.”
“I know but he has had this habit of faking his death before, and No I never really got his name, he just grabbed me and bit me the next thing I know I am on the ground craving human blood, some father figure hm?” She said chuckling softly, standing up she went over to the girl gently placing her hand over her forehead. “She is regaining her strength finally.” If this were to happen again, ayame figured she should leave after all the Level E were placed in the grounds because of her. “I’ll have to lead them away then.”

☾~ With a dismissive shrug, Zero muttered, “Suit yourself then.” He let Aido inside and locked the door behind him, taking a seat on one of the nearby couches. Cooking was one thing that Zero actually enjoyed doing, but the other didn't seem to be hungry so he didn't really care either way.
The next words out of the blonde's mouth, however, concerned him, along with the solemn expression on the other's face. “What do you mean? Yuki and I are the only two that live here, unless you have something to say to Ai, then that just leaves me.”
He pondered for a quick moment, the only thing he could think of would be something related to the hunter society, “Is this about another rogue?”
“No, thanks. You’ll poison me - I’m sure of that.” Why he still felt so much contempt for the hunter was beyond Hanabusa. They were no children anymore, nor were they at Cross Academy. Something about Kiryuu unsettled him and raised his guard. Would he poison him now? Probably not, but without Yuuki around, he wouldn’t take any chances. Might as well have caring witnesses if he was to be offered foul food. “I’ll wait for her, thank you very much. She’s my friend after all. However, I didn’t come specifically to talk with her, Kiryuu.” The glare plastered on his face softened to a non-threatening frown. He almost looked… concerned.

☾~ “Killed 100 years ago?” Zero mused, eyes darting to and fro as he considered the possibilities. “Well, if you're seeing them again, it's obvious they aren't dead. Do you have a name? There's a chance the hunter society might have something on them. I could look into it,” he let out a deep sigh of frustration. “There's no way we can rest easy yet as long as there's a chance of this happening again.”
Sliding down the wall she let out a soft breath, she had no idea who would send Level Es into the grounds, unless It was someone she knew. “….I know this one vampire my sire….lately I’ve been seeing him around but It’s impossible considering he was killed like 100 years back…” She said towards the silver haired male letting out a exhale as her wounds began to heal. “Ugh–where are my…tablets.” Grabbing her bag she took the bottle out swallowing a few of them, ugh they tasted horrible but It kept her thirst at bay.

☾~ “You're lucky Yuki cares so much about you...” he scoffed. Part of being with Yuki unfortunately was dealing with her friends, however annoying he might find them. Shrugging his shoulders, he glanced back to the blonde, “She's not going to be home for a while yet. I suppose I could make you something to eat, if you'd like to stay and wait for her.”
“I’m busy later. Make time for me right now.” He snarled.

☾~ Glancing to Ayame as she entered suddenly, he almost drew Bloody Rose and fired because the noise startled him. He was able to relax, however, once she had made her way inside. Her wounds were bad, but she was a vampire, he knew she would recover. The young girl hanging on for life was another story.
“She's fine right now, but she needs to get medical attention right away. The Headmaster is going to make sure she doesn't remember the incident. If she asks, we tell her that she fell out of a tree after trying to spy on the Night Class,” he grumbled, hating all the secrets that had to be kept.
“Our next concern is finding out how a level-E got so close to school grounds. Someone has to be responsible for this. This has never happened once, you wouldn't know of any bloodsuckers that you think are up to no good... do you...?”
After fighting a few more Level E, she stumbled her way towards the academy making her way through it to the headmaster’s office she groaned falling to her knees. “Whew that was rather intense…hm? how is the girl? Is she going to be okay?” Ayame asked zero, her hand covering over the blood smears on her sleeve.

☾~ Not wanting to argue, Zero continued to run to the headmaster's office. “Just meet me there when you can, he'll want to hear this from more than one witness!” There was no time to waste. Any additional moment could lead to the young student's death, and that was not something he was about to let happen... not again.
“And people wonder why I hate these fuckers....” he muttered through gritted teeth as he continued to rush to his destination.
Looking down at her blood covered arms, the female growled quickly grabbing her bottle, she took two more tablets trying to atleast calm down the desire to just simply feed on a human. “J-just go…I have to stay here and make sure there isn’t others.” She said lying through her teeth, standing up straight she clutched her shirt over her heart waiting for the craving to calm down. “Damn it all….I really don’t need this right now.”
