You never thought a random ‘let’s take a break from work’ text would actually turn into boarding a plane with your boyfriend.

Later, both of you are in your seats, waiting until the plane lands. You couldn't keep yourself awake, so you lay your head on Jay's shoulder to take a quick nap.

Jay stares at your beautiful face, drinking in every detail. He was the happiest he'd ever been—finally alone with the love of his life, no cameras following him around, no managers and orders, just him and you.

Eventually, the plane lands, and both of you head to your hotel room. You unlock the door and step inside, letting out a sigh of relaxation with a wide smile on your face.

You lay down on the bed, letting all your muscles relax. Jay follows, placing both yours and his luggage to the side.

"This is so perfect," you say, the smile never leaving your face. Jay smiles, nodding before sitting down next to you on the bed, his eyes never leaving you.

You look up at him. "What?" you say, confused. Jay smiles, leaning down toward you, shaking his head slightly. "Nothing. You're just so beautiful," he says, leaning in closer before kissing your lips.

You chuckle between kisses before pulling away. "Come on, let's look around," you say, standing up and glancing around the hotel room. Jay groans slightly, still wanting more, but ends up following you.

You explore for a bit, then head to the balcony. As you step out, you gasp slightly seeing the hot tub, jumping around in excitement. "We have to go in there tonight!" you say, grabbing Jay's hand, still bouncing with excitement.

Jay chuckles. "We will do everything you want to do. Trust me, we have a whole week for us. Don't worry, just stay in my arms for a bit."

He pulls you into a deep hug, walking you back inside. He sighs and lies down with you, not letting go as if you might vanish if he did.

Both of you relax, staying in that position, not letting go of each other until sleep takes over.

For the first time in months, Jay finally gets to sleep peacefully, with nothing on his mind.

Just because you're in his arms.

This whole week has been the worst, with exams and assignments piling up.

Finally, after a long stretch of studying, you finished everything. All you want to do now is go to sleep and let the stress melt away.

You unlock the door to your apartment, taking off your shoes and coat.

Letting out a sigh, you feel relief wash over you as you step inside. Just then, your boyfriend greets you with a wide smile.

He walks up, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you into a warm hug. "I missed you so much," he says, inhaling your scent. You chuckle, "You saw me this morning." He chuckles softly, "Yeah, but it felt like forever."

"Did you finish all your assignments today?" he asks, pulling away slightly to look into your eyes, still holding you gently as if you were the most fragile thing in the world.

You smile and nod before pulling him closer to rest your head on his chest. He caresses your back gently. "Good job, baby... you know, I have a surprise for you. "

You look up at him, confused, and he just kisses your lips for a moment before taking you to the balcony and pulling the chair for you to sit. "Wait for a second, baby." He says with a sweet smile before disappearing back inside.

You wait there for a bit before you start hearing shuffling behind the balcony door. He opens the door, walking in with two plates and a candle.

He sets the plates and the candle down before lighting the candle. "I made you your favorite food." He says, smiling widely, "You didn't have to sion..." You say your heart melting at his sweetness.

"I wanted to. This is basically nothing. You were really stressed this week. Just relax now and let me take care of you." He says before gently kissing your lips, savoring in your taste.

Both of you spend the night in each other's arms, sharing kisses and telling stories about each other's day.

All that both of you need is each other's presence.

Here you are again on a late-night shift. Your coworker, who usually does them, has been sick the whole week. The worst part of it all was the walk back home at night.

Today was quiet; in the morning, only a few people came in, and now the only thing that you can hear is the quiet hum of the convenience store's fridge and the rain pouring outside.

You sit behind the register, contemplating how you should go back home in this weather.

After a while, you check the time, only 15 minutes until the end of your shift. Hopefully, the rain stops by then.

You start cleaning up a few things before closing. Suddenly, somebody rushes in through the door. "Uhm, sorry, we're closing up," you say before looking up.

To your surprise, you see a boy your age looking like a drenched puppy. "Oh, uhm, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize that. It was just raining really hard outside. I thought it would be a good idea to stay here until it stops raining since there aren't any buses driving at this hour. I didn't think you would be closing right now."

You look outside, the rain now pouring heavier than before. "Oh, I guess, it really is that bad... well, you can just stay here. I'll just finish cleaning up. If you need anything, let me know." You slightly smile at him before going back to cleaning up.

While cleaning, you feel him staring at you, but the second you look back at him, he looks away, awkwardly looking around, trying to hide his flushed face.

After you finish cleaning up, you look out of the window, noticing how the rain stopped. You sighed, relieved, and quickly put on your jacket, taking the store's keys and looking at the boy who was still standing there.

"Do you need anything? The rain stopped, you know.." he looks back at you. "Oh, I thought it was pretty late and dangerous for a girl to walk alone... is it okay if I walk you home?.. I'm not a creep, I swear.."

You smile at his silliness, nodding and taking your bag before getting out and waiting outside for him to follow.

He gets out, and you lock the doors beginning to walk with him at a slow pace.

On the walk, both of you have a long conversation. You find out his name is Woonhak, and both of you have a lot in common. Both of you seemed to enjoy the conversation a lot.

You get to your home, and you turn around to face him. "Thank you for walking me..." You smile at him sweetly.

He smiles back. "No problem... how about I walk you tomorrow again?"
