For the last NYU Florence summer excursion, students went to Mantova.  A super hot day again!!

Went to Verona as part of NYU excursion (the last one!)  It was a super hot day, so the students were all very exhausted, but the city was beautiful!  At the end of the day, we watched Nabucco in the Arena, which is also known as the Piccolo Colosseum.  Arena is 25 years older than the Colosseum though; it’s just that the size is smaller.  The line to get inside the Arena was absolutely chaotic.  There was so “line” whatsoever so people were just pushing each other in order to enter.  I believe the people managing the tickets and line should do a better job.

Went to see the outskirts of Tuscasy!!

Went to Rome for one night and two days as an excursion from NYU.  Had a very nice bonding experience with other students and faculty members in the program, but it was so hot!!  With the weather beating down upon us, we were sweaty and exhausted.  Also, with so many tourists wherever we went, many of us were not able to clearly see what the faculties were hoping for us to see.  But oh well.  It’s Rome.  Dealing with other tourist was bound to happen.  Overall though, I had a very nice learning experience, so thank you NYU Florence!

Went to Venice again because it’s my dream city.  But I also went to Barona to see the colorful houses.

Ate my last brunch in Australia.  I’m feeling bittersweet about it, but I’m glad I ended on a beautiful place.  Going to my motherland tomorrow!! (at Grounds of Alexandria)

Finished my last exam today.  Spring 2016 semester is officially over.  My college sophomore year is officially over!  Sydney, you have been amazing.  One more full day tomorrow and I will be heading off! (at Watsons Bay)

PC to @sanadadani!  I was actually too scared to get close to them (thanks to the Kroosn driver).  But I did give all my carrots to the kangaroos, so it was a good day.  Would I take like 3 hour train ride (6 hours round trip) to do this again though...? Maybe, maybe not... And the banana was not mine; a kind Korean couple came over and gave us the banana. The roos certainly enjoyed bananas more than they liked carrots :(  Overall though, this was a great experience!  (at Morisset Park)

During the NYU Sydney farewell dinner :(  I will miss my friends, the faculty, and my Sydney routine in general.  Thank you for an awesome semester!  Now I just have to study for my finals… (@Pier One Sydney Harbour)
