Today should be quite uneventful, but I did receive a package in the mail today... I cannot wait to see what is inside!

((Hi! Long time no post, right? Well, school's getting a little hectic right now, so I might not get around to drawing the mysterious package today, or even this week! I'm really sorry about that, but school comes first. It should be up by Feb. 15th... hopefully! ~Kiwas))

Most of my days have been spent sleeping.

Whoa, how are you not dead after the whole sinking country thing?

Basically, my people figured out a way to harness the energy in human emotions and make an electric field strong enough to repel the water (which is slightly polar) and keep it out.

Brain waves throughout the land are monitored through a central tower in my capital, ειρηνική γη. As people feel positive emotions, their brain activity increases, and the tower collects some of that energy. The tower then uses that energy to fuel the electric field. 

Early on, the space that the tower's sensors covered was limited, so the tower was built to house mostly everyone. Now it just serves as the government building, and as a rest-house for anyone who does not feel safe wherever they live (i.e. abusive parents, leaks in the electric fields, etc.).

I do not pretend that the system is perfect; there were quite a few instances that people did not feel positively enough to keep the force field up and running wide enough, so we are working on a way to have it be fueled by all emotions on a large scale.
