GLITCHRUN comes from a timeline where robots were pretty much treated like third class citizens. unless you’re a bot from his timeline, he probably won’t like you.

Gus and Pulses wore heels before the End, with Gus being the only one who kept doing it afterwords. And your 100% right, they’re hella scarce. The only reason Gus can still wear heels is because he’s literally a time traveler; he’s got heels from all sorts of dimensions, it’s bonkers.Gott the AI also wears heels, but like, they don’t count because they’re fake and made out of shitty pixels, just like his personality.

i think before i make this next post that i really need to talk about the importance of touch within robot culture and subsequently robot life???? at the core of it, robots of all variety are way more sensitive to everything than Organics are; pressure, temperature, and movement, all amplified. these characteristics are why a lot of 'bots can communicate simply by touch. communication for 'bots in the Arcanist empire was real rough. a lot of "employed" 'bots were not allowed to speak during work hours (which could literally last days in the worst parts of the empire lmao), so they learnt to speak through subtle body gestures and by touch. "watch out" was the equivalent of a tight squeeze on the wrist, "thank you" was a light touch on the shoulder, and so on. of course this wasn't the most complex of languages, but it was immensely important to robots in that situation, they were able to unify and form a community even under this oppression. as most things do, this "language" spread beyond the factory and beyond the robot-caste-system. when things of great meaning needed to be communicated, it was communicated through touch, be it "i'm sorry" or "I love you" or anything in between. a robot's touch carries massive weight, and it's such an important gesture to them all, especially Arcanist 'bots. sure, there are definitely touch gestures that Organics use to communicate, but it's doesn't hold the same gravitas; this "language" was developed under extreme subjugation and eventually became one of the key factors in liberating and unifying 'bots in the Arcanist empires. entire conversations could be held without a word being said. it was a language that crossed all sorts of barriers, and has continued on even into the post End times. i'm tired, this probably doesn't make sense, but it's a big fucken deal, yo.
