Recently read the criminally short lived Unstoppable Wasp series and I just had to draw Nadia Van Dyne. She is a delight and deserves better!

Who knew I had so much family? I grew up with no family, and now I have magical reincarnated robot great-nephews! And eventually an alien prince great-nephew-in-law!

Can we appreciate how far marvel has come when it comes to manga art styles
Like, in the early 2000’s, we got either this:
Or even worse, this(yes, I know it’s a parody of anime but Jason Aaron designed this character as an immature jab at anime, so I’m counting it) :
But thanks to artists like Gurihiru, Takeshi Miyazawa and Felipe Smith, we have beautiful art like this:
Seriously, I love when western media embraces this art style and does it so well. Probably helps to have people that actually watched anime and read manga actually working on stories with this art style.
Edit: forgot to mention Stacey Lee! Another talented artist with an anime inspired art style.

The man crying is George Gillette, tribal chairman of the Mandan, Arikara, and Hidatsa tribes of North Dakota in 1948. He was forced under the threat of death of all his people to sign over the tribes’ homeland on the fertile floodplain of the Missouri River in order to build the Garrison Dam.
The final settlement legislation denied tribes’ right to use the reservoir shoreline for grazing, hunting, fishing or other purposes, including irrigation development and royalty rights on all subsurface minerals within the reservoir area.
After the dam was constructed, the three tribes were scattered, their communities and extended families flung to different shores of the 200-mile-long Lake Sakakawea.
This is what your freedom and democracy is built on.

HELL YEAH GOODBYE BITCH
EDIT: I am aware he has been removed from funimation. Also for those who don’t believe the accusations against him there are thousands of reblogs on this post with many women also speaking about their accounts with him.
SECOND EDIT: stop blaming rooster teeth, more than likely they didn’t know until now and I’ve noticed that on their podcast they talk about this kinds of things MONTHS or YEARS after they come to light as if they had just heard about it. I do not blame them and they have taken appropriate action against Vic since this has been made more widespread

Hey, the main #ComicsGate guy is writing a comic. I’m sure this dude who’s built a career off attacking comics creators for being bad at their jobs isn’t making any textbook level mistakes at all.
Oh no, he has a guy muttering angrily about something, yelling, playing it cool, pausing to think, and then changing the subject all in one panel! That’s literally something you’re told not to to in one of the most popular comics textbooks out there, Making Comics by Scott McCloud.
By the way, artist friends. What facial expression do you think matches “Shit! What? No! …. What’s for dinner?” Think about it for a second. Maybe doodle it.
….
Yeah, I don’t know either, and neither did the artist for Iron Sights, who gave up and went with Sterns Masculinely
I realize that I myself am a critic-turned-writer with a tendency towards edginess and maybe I’m being hypocritical here, but I’m also both a better writer and a better person than Richard Meyers, so fuck him. Dude needs learn his fucking craft.
