11 years ago today, @another-happy-landing and I met the Clone Wars crew. Dave Filoni was one of the most encouraging people I’ve ever had a conversation with. Ashley Eckstein went out of her way to show him the drawing of Ahsoka I did. Dee Bradley Baker was a gem, as were Catherine Taber and James Arnold Taylor. Matt Lanter was hilarious, mainly because of how cool he thought he was. 😎 All in all, it was one of my fondest memories.

Almost three years; it had been almost three years since The Jedi Purge. Strangely, it felt like it had been both a thousand years and no time at all. He thought he would miss Anakin more than he did. There were too many other emotions to wade through before he landed on that sentiment again. What he missed more than anything, other than his deceased Jedi family, was simply familiar sensations in the Force.

Long ago when he was 13 he had left The Temple temporarily; it was a similar experience then. Lonely. Everywhere you look there is someone you can sense but no one who can sense you back. Mutual Force Senitivity was a special kind of intimacy. He grieved that loss mightily.

His Force-work on communing with the dead had gone well. What he had learned was that he could access all Jedi, essentially, who had become one with The Force; he knew the Sith did not have this ability, and it was currently believed that those without The Force could not be summoned.

So why was he sensing.... could he actually feel...?
