It would be great if we had a ton of well written characters, whose lives are relatively happy. We don't. We probably have less w/w characters than in 2005 and main characters? Tumbleweeds.

When you kill off a main Sapphic character, regardless of the context, at this moment, it's a BYG. She dead. They literally buried her on screen.

I get that it's the whole point of it, Rio was death, blah, blah, blah. Tell me how a show about Agatha ends as a character entrance for Billy.

Whatever this show was supposed to be, it clearly got retooled by someone that didn't think it could do well on its own merits.

I haven't watched 1x09 yet, but it's like post 105 someone took a hacksaw and put Billy in a the holes. I might change my mind.

AAA as a spinoff could have done anything. Making death a character and giving the main Sapphic character a history with her is a choice. Beautiful, yes. Hot even. But def BYG :(
