Don’t try to be a cleric. Your heals aren’t particularly to par with theirs. Act as a support healer instead. Heal the tank or the popular target of the enemy, but leave most of the healing to the clerics, unless you’re on a manageable team. Your role is buffer, not primary healer.

Anyways, yes, is not impossible for a chanter to serve as a primary healing figure, same goes for bard. But chanters are known for buffing and secondary support roles, sometimes even tanking. But yes it is possible to substitute a cleric with a chanter, but newer chanters (in which these advice posts are assumed at) will find it more challenging to be a primary healer.

Literally half the people I caused problems with are deactivated, what's up with that?

As long as the bard doesn’t have Half-Stop then you have no worries about buffs, but all bards get Dragon Song so thats why i save Stamina Restoration for when they try to take my mana. Skill activates and i heal that shit right up.

Never rush into battle un-buffed, and make sure your actually OK to PvP. Oh and don’t forget to constantly stun bc that’s how chanters actually live so year stunstunstun. When all your skills are on cooldown, REBUFF AND HEAL!!! I CANT TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES IVE SEEN A CHANTER DIE BC THEY WERENT RE-BUFFING THEMSELVES

Made my NotAion Chant!

I finished my DPS set for my cleric so I finally made my chant. Friend her if you'd like and you have not aion name is Izumiglowdream. Most of my sisters and my characters have the 'Glowdream' in the name so if you see us say hi!

ok and just to clarify

I posted 1 friendly tip, which yes I realize isn't really helpful. Most of the stuff I post is Problems I've had as a chanter who constantly switches Stigma builds to fit my group's needs. I won't be posting anymore "tips" because I haven't since that first one, but trust me, as I run into more problems as a chant, I'm going to post them. On the other hand, I've learned so much from reading other people's blog posts about chanters that I do realise my manastone mistake, and in fact, I completely resocketed my armour (costing me about 20kk) because I have learned and I will correct any mistake I make/made. As I said earlier in this post I won't put up anymore tips, at least not until I learn more about this class. thank you, and I sincerely hope this post doesn't start a while new shit-storm.
