Can I get a dark romance prompt? Not like the stereotypical gang or assassin ones but one that could be genuinely disturbing. Thank you!!

1) A serial killer 

Still kind of a cliche (very close to an assassin), but if it’s done right, it can be a whole new level of dark romance.

Inspiration:

- Jack the Ripper = not necessarily from the POV of the killer’s future victim, maybe just someone who has seen him or admires his work (now, I am not telling you to write about Jack the Ripper specifically, but just imagine a mass murderer like that; brutal, with no boundaries)

- Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) = check out for inspiration; I haven’t seen it myself, but I’ve heard it’s quite disturbing

2) A stalker

Falling in love with your stalker? Kinda disturbing, right? Or what if it’s from the stalker’s POV? They don’t realize how stalkish they are, after all…

Inspiration:

- Obssesed (2009)

- A Daughter’s Nightmare (2014)

3) A priest

Now, this doesn’t sound as dark as the other two, but for example: imagine a priest who claims that you are possesed by the devil and the only way to exorcise it, is to have sex with him? Eventually, you end up falling in love with him, but the whole “relationship” is twisted - is he just manipulating you? Does he honestly want to help you? There are many ways to make this work and it can get pretty dark and disturbing, in my opinion.

“Are you sure about this?” Character A whispers. Character B nods, swallowing in both nervousness and anticipation. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m sure. I’ve never been more sure about something.”

“We’re both so new to this,” Character A groans, eliciting soft laughter from Character B. “That’s what makes this all the more better, no?” Character B says, pulling Character A in. “Because we get to experience this newness together.” 

“That— I didn’t know I could make those noises.” (Neither did I, you ain't special-)

“I’m so embarrassed—” “It’s okay, you don’t have to be embarrassed with me. It’s a safe space, okay?”

“If it’s too much, tell me. I don’t want you being overwhelmed okay? And I don’t want you forcing yourself to do anything you’re not comfortable with.” 

“We don’t have to do this if you’re not ready…” Character B murmurs, and Character A shakes their head, arms only tightening around Character B’s neck. “I’m ready. And I trust you,” Character A says, pulling them down for a kiss by the nape of their neck. 

“I don’t know if I can do this.” “That’s okay. We don’t have to do this. You want to cuddle instead?” 

“…Um, was that supposed to happen?”

“Wait, wait, wait— that’s the wrong hole—”

“Shit, that was… That was a lot.”

Character A letting out an unrestrained whimper and then slapping a hand over their mouth, cheeks reddening in embarrassment, and Character B chuckling softly, leaning down to press a kiss to their blushing cheek. (CAN I JUST SAY THIS SHIT IS SO FUCKINGR RENGKREL’NG’KLN Yes. FUCKING JUST- oop-) 

The laughter and teasing between them makes them both relax into each other.
