...Amado V. Hernandez...
Amado V. Hernandez commonly known as Amado V. Hernandez (September 13, 1903 – March 24, 1970), was a Filipino writer and labor leader who was known for his criticism of social injustices in the Philippines and was later imprisoned for his involvement in the communist movement. He was the central figure in a landmark legal case that took 13 years to settle.
He was born in Tondo, Manila, to parents from Hagonoy, Bulacan. He grew up and studied at the Gagalangin, Tondo, the Manila High School and at the American Correspondence School. His most popular poem is the Bullets and Roses and Isang Dipang Langit.
Hernandez appeals to a large segment of society with his incisive and intense portrayal of human passion, aspiration, and nobility. Using pieces of historical and cultural evidence, Someone investigates the foundation and ramifications of Hernandez's art, the factors that have shaped his poetics, and the direction that it finally took. There is no doubt that Hernandez is a master poet. Because he successfully transmogrified the beauty and graces of proletarian and romantic perspectives, he transcended their shortcomings and inadequacies, emerging with "a socially realistic romanticism." This is the heart of his continuing relevance and the source of his permanence as an artist. His poetry did not wilt by the wayside when the social causes he was fighting for became moot and academic, but remains vibrant and enjoyable to this day.
I guess I pick him because I love the way he pursue his passion even though there's so many struggles that he encountered in his time. According to my research he got arrested and stayed in the jail because of his beliefs and I'm so proud of him because of his dedication to fight for his ways. Like him we need to be brave and fiercer when we are just stating our own lives. Let's support locals and raise up our own legends :) Come with me.

Language Barrier
This illustration represents a scenario of two people had their conversation through chat. It may also have a quite physical barrier because they are far from each other. But I focus in the language barrier because we uses different language in this world and we are trying to understand each other although it's a tough matter. In this image it obviously shown a bad impact from the both of them and it lead to misunderstanding. So, we need to find time to be more interested to study other languages, it's for our own good also:)
