Introducing Cornelia Schuyler, aka the paternal grandmother of Eliza. She’s technically an OC, but at the same time not really, since she is a real person that just wasn’t mentioned in the musical. By OC I mean I crafted her personality to match that of Gramma Tala from Moana (another project LMM worked on) and Grandmother Fa (from the movie that inspired this AU). 

In this AU, she lost her husband when their son was still a child (the child being Philip Schuyler) and had to carry on his legacy until the time came for Philip to inherit it. She is a devoted mother and grandmother and is still in love with her departed husband even after all these years, so much so that she refused to remarry and kept her spouse’s last name. She is a huge supporter of Eliza and will always be by her side in life and death.

Can you believe that the Hamilton couple actually had 8 children? Philip the first (named for his maternal grandfather), Angelica (named after our favorite dazzling older Schuyler sister), Alexander Jr., James (who shares his name with his paternal grandfather and uncle), John (who I like to believe was named after John Laurens), William, little Eliza, and Philip the second (named after his dearly departed older brother). 

The Hamilton children were difficult to sketch, especially when I was trying to incorporate different aspects of their parents into their designs. I think Philip the first was challenging to draw since I didn’t want him to took like an exact replica of John Laurens (same actor after all).

John André may have not been a character introduced in the Hamilton musical, but he was a real person. Granted, he’s not exactly an individual who is looked upon favorably in history, but he certainly held an important position in the eyes of people like Alexander Hamilton and the Marquis de Lafayette. And that also includes the real Elizabeth Schuyler, some even say that she had a slight crush on the man before she was introduced to Alexander. Even during his trial and execution, he was someone very special to them all, and they mourned his loss. 

This is basically a depiction of their introduction as children, where Eliza can’t help but admire his manners and kind personality. They’ll become close friends as the years go on, but alas he’ll only know her as Elijah Schuyler rather than the girl he meet when they were still young.

This was a cover I designed for the Sweet Polly Oliver and the Tomcat fanfic. Basically, it’s the two personas of Eliza... Elizabeth and Elijah. It’s nothing special, just a combination of map pencils and sharpie markers. I do plan on redoing this picture sometime in the future, hopefully with better materials.

You simply must meet Elizabeth “Elijah” Schuyler from my Sweet Polly Oliver and the Tomcat AU. This was a rough draft of how I wanted her to look for the fanfiction I’m working on, I’ve made some changes to her over the years but this is pretty much the look I’m going for concerning her character. To be honest, this was the first time I ever drew an actual human character rather than someone from anime or one of my OCs.

Hello everyone!  A-Spec-ific Topic is the name and art is my game, even if I don’t consider myself to be very good at it.

What a way to celebrate the new year than by making a Tumblr blog? Truthfully, I’ve had this account for several months now but today is the day I’m officially creating this page in my own image. I look forward to sharing my art with you all, especially if you’ve read some of my works on FanFiction. I plan on making things that relate to my writing works.

But in the meantime, enjoy the upcoming new year. Remember to socially distance, practice sanitary habits and wear a mask.
