It's the spring of 2023 (in my heart, always) and Kris has to watch Bojan fall in love with someone else

So it'd be Kris's POV of Bojan meeting Jere. Kris and Bojan love each other, have always loved each other, are an un-labeled couple.

And Kris has to watch Bojan pining and questioning everything when he has this instant connection with (straight-as-far-as-anyone-knows, has-a-girlfriend) Jere. And all the teams are obsessed with them and all the fans ship it and Bojan seems so happy and Kris knows that he's losing him.

Favourite moments would be Kris unable to hide his fear anymore with "don't you fucking touch me" when Bojan tries to initiate something and finally addressing the issue with "do you love him?" and Bojan can only say "...I don't know." Maybe this would be when Bojan comes back to the hotel late after a day hanging out with Jere and Kris hasn't been able to sleep.

But they do get time alone to address it (maybe backstage at the eurovision arena or by the sea, maybe it's raining idk) and obviously they're both violent and desperate and hurting. "Don't you dare kiss me as if you're scared it'll be the last time" and angry break-up-esque sex/touching

Ending on some crying and healing and either a) reaffirmed devotion or b) deciding to take a break from each other

I know I keep adding Dorian Electra songs, and I kinda wanted to give them a more punk/rock song, however... the lyrics to this one I feel capture them. Lots of "be honest with me" sort of energy, but with that metaphor of a "fight" being used. Not that they fight in a toxic way at all, but like they challenge one another... which will be more apparent in later chapters.

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other’s outfits; what is each wearing?

I think Jere would have a few options for Bojan:

Once he (potentially) finds out about Bojan's former pre-hero days as Novi Val, he might want to see Bojan in that old outfit with all the spandex and work trousers... Seeing how much tighter it is on him around the shoulders and chest now that he's filled out a bit more...

Something for date night; a nice dark button down, high-waisted trousers, lots of glimmering rings and necklaces because he's noticed that Bojan likes little trinkets like that. Maybe he can do Bojan's makeup.

And for a sappy one, Jere would just want Bojan to wear what he used to before becoming Demoni. Just a casual, dressed down guy in a t-shirt and jeans. Relaxed, enjoying himself, laughing.

For Jere from Bojan's POV:

What irl Jere wore to the Independence Day event; maybe... he wears it in the SSoL-verse to some gala :) and Bojan wants to see it up close and personal.

Shove Jere into one of his old tattered t-shirts, give him the boyfriend treatment without admitting that that's what he wants to do. Just stares at Jere, smiling as he wriggles into a t-shirt that doesn't fit either of them anymore.

Hi!! I saw all the requests for pairings and wanted to join! But first I just have to gush about your fics to you!!! They are so well written and I honestly never expected a kinktober fic to alter my own view of kink and sexuality. As someone on the ace spectrum all the Kris/Jure is just so fantastic to read!!!❤ So thank you for this beautiful universe you've created!

And I enjoy being in Kris head so much!! One of the scenes that have stayed with me is when Kris laments to Nace that he can't fall in love with all his band mates and Nace replies that it's all ready too late for that. My head just went "Bojan!! Does Kris know that he's in love with Bojan? IS he in love with Bojan even though BoKris haven't been featured all that much [by that point]?? And how does Nace know that Kris is in love with Bojan???"

So I guess what I'm saying is that I'm joining the choir crying for more BoKris (the angry sex and all the angst is just 🤯🥵😳😵😍🥺😭). But really, anything poly!JO and especially with Kris is my obsession (the Kris/Jure/Jan dynamic is soooo interesting and hot!). I the way you write Kris pov!!❤❤

Kris became my not-so-secret favorite as I was writing the original Kinktober and I wrote his deleted scenes first because I think it's so fascinating in his head.

I did in fact think about Bojan when I wrote that line, and I think their relationship in my universe could be amazing to explore. I feel like with the setting of my story and the timeline I was planning at the start, I've had to keep Jere apart from the other JO boys, and that therefore tended to keep away Bojan as well. But now that I'm more-or-less freed from a timeline, I feel like I need less of an excuse to put them all together in the same place.

So, yes. More BoKris is coming.

EDIT: I MEANT TO ADD that when I started the Kinktober fic I was 100% planning to have Jan be the central focus, so Kris running away with the story was quite the surprise!

A TV in Bojan's living room was running some show that neither Bojan nor Jere were watching. They laid half hugging on a couch, Jere's head on Bojan's chest, nestled on Bojan's side and Bojan hugging him with one arm.

It was absolutely perfect.

Jere had said screw it and bought a ticket to visit Bojan. Honestly, he should have done it a year ago, but this August works too. Later that night they'll go to some private party, but for now they could just laze around pretending they have all the time in the world.

Being in Bojan's embrace was everything to Jere. He didn't know how, but his mind could finally quiet down when he was listening to the familiar heartbeat. It probably started right when they met - Bojan's embrace making everything better. Literally making everything better. Fans though it was Bojan who was always seeking a hug from Jere, but they'd never know how badly Jere needed that touch. How badly he needed Bojan. Only Bojan knew.

Jere was softly brushing his fingers down Bojan's chest through a t-shirt. He reached under the t-shirt and stopped at Bojan's midsection.

"What you call this?"

"Huh?" Bojan's voice sounded scratchy like he just woke up from a daze. "Call what?"

"This." Jere brushed his finger on Bojan's belly button. "Fans say it's something potent. Belly potent?"

Bojan started giggling with a silent shake. Jere spread his hand over his tummy, it was fascinating to feel that gorgeous body contract with laugh.

"A what? Belly potent? Maybe it is very potent. Lower is more potent, you could check again to be sure." He teased.

Jere pinched Bojan's soft skin. "Maybe I bite."

"It can also be called navel. Or we call it popek too."

"Now you just make words." Jere made himself more confortable laying alongside Bojan, wrapping his leg around Bojan's. "How long we have to stay at party?" Jere murmured into Bojan's chest after a pause.

"Hm.. maybe an hour? But we also can just say hello and leave."

"okei." Jere softly replied.

Bojan placed another kiss on Jere's head, this time dyed in questionable blond. He wasn't sure if Jere felt the kisses, but either case Bojan wasn't going to stop with that precious head laying right there next to his lips.

He couldn't believe this incredible person was here, in Bojan's living room, lazing with him on his couch, and loved him back so much he constantly kept dropping things just for another moment with Bojan.

Bojan kissed Jere's hair again. He didn't expect Jere just to show up, or actually to call for a pick up from an airport. Now all those questions about what Bojan was doing and what he was planning made sense. In the same way, Bojan also wasn't surprised, because it's Jere and he never does things like a regular person.

Jere loved to pamper Bojan in every possible way when Bojan was visiting Finland, but now, here in Slovenia, in Bojan's home, Jere was much harder to spoil. He said he didn't want to trouble anyone and wasn't hearing that it wasn't a trouble at all. But it's okay, they will get there eventually. Accepting love in full also takes time. Bojan gave another soft kiss.

Jere lifted his head, placing his face right next to Bojan's. He wasn't saying anything but there was a slight scrunch between Jere's eyebrows. Bojan smiled widely, he knew that look very well - Jere got that look when he was being needy but didn't want to voice it out. The next kiss was right on Jere's waiting lips, slow and promising. Bojan was good at languages, if he could say so himself, and reading Jere was for sure his best.

C: What member do you identify with most?

I think Bojan! Because from what I can see he's an interesting contrast of very silly and chaotic and bubbly, while also taking things very seriously and is quite a deep/overthinker, and cares a lot about what people think of him and how he comes across. He's also super affectionate with his friends and very physically open and intimate with them, everytime I write him as super needy and clingy I'm like "lol, me" haha.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

I was possessed to write a dæmon AU bokris soulmate thing, told largely from Jere's POV. The idea was partly inspired by "Every Atom of You" by the Anonymous author of the Vse Kar Vem!verse. I still also have that younger Bo(Jan)2 fic where Bojan asks Jan to help him explore his sexuality (and his body) that I haven't started.

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

I think sometimes people find it hard to balance the almost childlike/silly personalities of Bojan and Jere without infantilising them. I read Bojan more so I see it more with him, and I really don't like when I'm reading him and could be reading about a child or just an annoyingly immature character for the whole fic. Ofc part of his personality is that silliness and I like when there are moments of that, but sometimes its consistent throughout the whole fic without showing that extremely intelligent and mature side to him.

This is more of a preference rather than something I really dislike, but I also don't love when people make the boys total angels and completely morally perfect in a way that doesn't feel realistic. Personally I actually love versions of Bojan that don't shy away from him being a slightly selfish/emotionally unavailable 25 year old dude who hurts people sometimes. I know writing is hard, and I'm sure there are lots of things I unknowingly get wrong or don't balance well so I don't mean to be shitting on anyone's work if they do like those characterisations of him!

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…) - Well I haven't really written about them at all (because I have written only about Bojan and Jere, oops) but I'd love to write some Jance fics, especially from Jan's PoV. I recently wrote a short Jance ficlet from Nace's PoV as a practice and that was fun. I'm just afraid I won't be able to pin them down "correctly" but hey, practice practice practice.

7. How do you choose which POV to write from? That's one of the first things that I "decide" when I start a fic. It's an unconscious thing, whichever POV feels more natural to me given the setting etc. I choose POV based on what ways I want to flesh out my characters: for example, I write from the POV of the character who I want to have more introspection, and then the other characters I flesh out through the eyes of my POV. I dunno, it just comes naturally, I never think about it consciously.

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc? I've got a lot, lol. For example, I noticed that my past two Käärijan angst/denial of feelings prompts were quite the same. But I think my readers would find these patterns more easily than me. I dunno any examples right off the top of my head.

39. Share a snippet from a WIP Not my first ride. Rode, Jere assured him when Bojan tried and failed to mask his panic once it dawned on him that they've been snowed in.

Ridden, Bojan added in his head. There was only one ride to have in the cabin, and it wasn't going to happen.

A bit of cabin fever never hurt anyone, eh?

No wonder Jere was understandably hesitant at first when Bojan - out of the blue, and rather drunk (on courage and adrenaline) at the time - suggested that he visit Finland at the height of winter. Somewhere far north, where the sun never rises. Maybe his cabin fever developed back in the studio, locked inside a prison of his own creation, a solitary cell with a door that could only be opened from the outside. Deliberately designed by Bojan.

Sometimes being the damsel in distress was rather freeing.

59. Of the characters you write for, which is your favorite? Has that choice been swayed at all by your followers/readers’ reactions to certain ones? I love writing Bojan, of course, and for my SAS Rogue Heroes fics, I love writing Eoin McGonigal. For my Dunkirk fics, I loved writing Collins! And no, my choices are never swayed by others, I write what I feel like writing.
