Ok but does anyone want to talk about why is Alastor on someone's (probably Lilith's) leash? Like what happened? He's the Radio Demon, someone who literally said "fuck you" to Lucifer in the same episode- and almost right after that they tell us that someone is controlling his actions???

Nifty is Eve in disguise

This theory adds onto to a few other popular ones, that being Eve is Alastor's dealmaker under the guise of Lilith, and Eve is the cryptic "Roo." What I propose alongside that, is that she's hiding in plain sight among the hotel guests, and that disguise is Nifty.

Spoilers up to the season 1 finale below:

Evidence:

When you think about her in conjunction with the show's established themes it falls into place: Adam, the s1 antagonist is a misogynist who wanted Lilith's obedience. Eve will foil Lilith; while she's all about hating subservience and breaking chains, Nifty is a parody of the stereotypical 50s housewife, 'likes being forced' and spends her time cooking, cleaning, and obsessing over men. Eve was created from Adam's rib to ensure his next wife would lack the autonomy to rebel. Designed to be the epitome of Adam's submissive ideal, it makes sense Eve would choose a 50s housewife as her disguise, they resonate with her.

The old logo is her face / her and Lucifer's placement on the prime cover.

She collects little pieces of men because that's what she was made from / is enamoured with Pentious in particular because he's a snake. "never leave me again" <- double meaning alert. / "HATED THAT SONG" because she was never offered forgiveness so easily. Not even Charlie catching her in the trust fall is foreshadowing; unlike Lilith who had Lucifer, no one came to her side when she committed the original sin.

The all-female exorcists were made by Adam to serve him. Their masks have horns like Lilith and a missing eye like a cyclops. They're hybrid clones of the two wives that left him. Eve is the only character in the intro whose eyes we haven't seen.

Every large ensemble show has a mole arc and she's the only one with no established goals. It's always the one-note gag characters you should look out for.

There's no confirmation if Nifty made a deal with Alastor. I think Eve is the one who's got him 'on a leash' though he thinks it's Lilith. He lets Nifty follow him around and she plays up the fangirl persona to keep a close eye on him.

It's the perfect refuge in audacity disguise. Acting innocent in hell in suspect. Being an unhinged stalker raises no questions. Alastor himself says he has no idea what tf her deal is.

I made this theory a few days ago but I was delighted to see more evidence in the final episode. See this?

It's elaborate foreshadowing disguised as a gag. She's not just doing this for the funsies she is MAD mad. Vengeance!

Conclusion:

Whether this means she's the big bad or unlikely ally, I can't say. If it's the former, her goal is to be redeemed with the other guests and enter heaven so she can get revenge on everyone else. S1 leans heavily into heaven vs hell so it would make sense for the final antag to be a 3rd party wildcard who wants to burn both sides to the ground for failing her. Heaven casted her out, hell unintentionally doomed her to an eternity of suffering with the fruit of knowledge, then left her.

It's peak fiction, sure the pacing is a bit off and the finale was a bit rushed imo (blame Amazon and A24 for that). But despite some flaws, I do think that this show is good; as in like:

I just finished part 4 of CAOS and like... 👀😅 bro what were they thinking?! There were literally a handful of ways they could’ve prevented it from ending like that, and just chose not to? Like... I am... honestly just bewildered. Absolutely bewildered. Spoilers will be below, as well as just my thoughts:

-they could have had Robin use his superspeed to bring out all the people in the void, not even to mention the other planets that had been trapped inside.

-they didn’t have one single blood/liquid slowing spell? Couldn’t have slowed the process so it would take longer?

-Zelda didn’t even try to contact mambo marie with the dice? (I understand why the graveyard didn’t work, but still.)

-EVEN THEN- couldn’t Robin have rushed her corpse to the graveyard so it could have worked?!

-literally romanticizing su*c*de to a teenage audience. Even if they wanted to still have that scene, couldn’t they have just said many years passed and he lived a fulfilling life but only showed up to her like that in ‘the sweet hereafter’ because that’s how she remembers him? Like tf?

-I wanted to see Lilith give Hilda and Dr. Cee the baby, Adam. Or at least hide him and lie about cooking him, because... tf? She loved him, but... idk. That whole thing was wild.

-Lucifer became pretty much useless and literally loved one Sabrina but not the other? Even if he was tossed out to become a beggar- um- I wanted to see that? Like, thank you!

-They could have continued the show and made it about Roz. I really wanted to see her become a witch and go to the academy and embrace her powers, not just as a seer.

-I really wanted to see the celestial realm as well, and they could’ve even played with the fae realm too.

-why wouldn’t have ‘the imp of the perverse’ worked?

-wanted to see how Ambrose turned out and also hear more about his house arrest and the blowing up of the Vatican. Plus Ambrose and Prudence back together.

alice: she doesn't know how to control her grief or sadness very well. she typically will bury it until it's unmanageable, have a good cry, and then pretend it didn't happen and move on.

alice: alice's parents (damian & octavia) are part of caesar's legion, so she doesn't see them anymore. she also had an older brother who passed away before she was born, but her middle name is his first (sawyer).

abel: abel is married to briar rose, has an imp companion named cain (hehe), and lives on his parent's (isaac + lilith) cattle ranch. he also has a younger brother named garrett who is a bard :-)

💤 SLEEPING - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep?

alice: alice will conk tf out after a long day of work. she had trouble sleeping when she first left the legion, since the ambient/white noise was so different in town, but she's good now.

abel: when he's home on the ranch, yes, but when he's adventuring/working, no. he doesn't let himself fall into a deep sleep since he typically takes second watch at night.

alice: not really comfort, but she really likes having toast lol

abel: as a kid, lilith would make cinnamon rolls on special occasions. so those and typical scrambled eggs + toast

alice: she mainly likes cooking her own food, but will sometimes stop and eat on the strip.

abel: this is more so a joke w the other players in abel's campaign, but when in town him and the others ALWAYS get ice cream lol. he isn't much of a cook, so he either eats in town or whatever druid makes on the road.

alice: she doesn't usually like mentioning being born into the legion, especially around ncr members. even though she's no longer there, people react poorly more often than not.

alice: her name was inspired by alice in wonderland, since i was reading it when i did a playthrough of new vegas with her. she originally was fully sided with the legion, but i changed her to independent/follower's of the apocalypse.

abel: ik there was something that made me think of his gang/cop background, but i literally can't remember. his aesthetic was inspired by clint eastwood, and specifically this photo. i named him abel before i gave him an imp companion, and i thought it'd be funny to name him cain after the brothers' story (cain will not be hitting with abel with a rock however, he's his human dad basically)

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

alice: alice is generally neutral/chaotic good. she is skeeved out by anyone hardcore in the ncr due to their water/resource hoarding, and obviously anyone with purposeful ties to the legion. she doesn't really need to cut people off tho since she only has a handful of close friends.

abel: when he was younger, anyone who talked shit about his brother would 1) get their ass beat and 2) completely ignored afterwards.

👖 JEANS - what is their go-to outfit?

alice: cowboy boots, jeans, old t-shirt, and either flannel or denim jacket! she burns easily so she always has some kind of cover + hat when she's outside.

abel: he has elven armor with a rose over his heart (for briar <3), and he wears a shawl & cowboy hat on top of it!

🔥 FIRE - do they have any self destructive tendencies? what habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best self?

alice: hero complex. she feels like she needs to take on everyone's problems and fix the entire wasteland. if she learned how to say no, she could focus more on herself and found family.

abel: he is a huge liar while also sometimes forgetting how much he's let on with certain people! he constantly has to think over his words when discussing his main job with party members.

💚 GREEN HEART - what things make your oc feel comforted? hugs, kisses, food?

alice: two of her favorite things are to watch the sunset with raul, or sit with arcade while he reads aloud. she feels comforted by just sharing space with her friends without necessarily having to do anything.

abel: cain brings him a lot of comfort, since he's the only person from home he gets to see on a daily basis. also hearing cain clown on druid for no reason other than he's a little jackass <3

Redbull Cornerstone 2021

With 7 stops this year at the midwest’s best indoor parks, we saw the greatest year for cornerstone, yet. I want to give a shout out to redbull for putting this contest on for us, anyone can sign up and compete to win a good little chunk of money. This series is put on for local midwest communities of skaters with and without experience to get out there and try out contest skating. Opportunities like this are few and far between in our current world of skateboarding. It’s amazing to see the locals put on for their city and be celebrated for it. With so little events like this in the south, I come up here every year to be a part of the scene, skate the parks and check out what’s going on in each city. 

Kansas City, MO 

The start to this trip was a little rough. I got stuck 6 hours in the DFW airport thanks to my connecting flight being canceled. Because of airlines requiring vaccines for all their employees to continue working, hundreds of flights were canceled and delayed due to understaffing. At one point, I thought I was going to have to take a greyhound bus from Dallas to Kansas City. By what seemed to be sheer luck, I was selected from the standby list to board the last plane out to Kansas City that night. Once I arrived in KC, my friend Rheagan who lives in town came and picked me up, we got some food, then headed to the private TF where the homies skate. As you can imagine, this place is totally rad and an incredible place to train and have private sessions. We skated till midnight, everyone stoked to be in town and together, getting ready for the contest.

Cornerstone that weekend (10/17) was at RideFourEver, an indoor park and skate school in KCK. Before cornerstone got started, Redbull hosted a contest that morning for the groms, which I got to see a lot of. These kids were killing it! Kickflip rocks, skating the hubbas, handrail, a-frame, stacking more tricks than i could even imagine in my own run. Admittedly, I nearly cried seeing the little girls, wrapped in their colorful pads, do their runs confidently and with so much support. The impact the skate school has on the future shredders of Kansas City was felt, and with greatness. The opportunity to be able to have that level of organization in this sport at such a young age can really help these kids materialize their passion and visualize their goals. I was grateful to have witnessed the kiddos skate that day, envisioning them on the covers and nine clubs to come.

The day was long. Many piffs were burned. I got my first ever 1st in cornerstone, with Mic in 2nd and Rhegs in 3rd to back me up. Kaylee won best trick with kickflip sex change over the a-frame.

That night, Redbull payed for everyone to eat and drink at John’s Big Deck, where I got to hang out and talk with the girls from the contest, and other skaters from KC who didn’t compete that day. All of us got to talking about that brand new 88,000 sq ft Lauridsen skatepark in Des Moines, Iowa they had just built that May, where they hosted the olympic trials. Kind of like, a bucket list skate park, if you ask me. Since I was going to be in town for the next week, my friends and I decided to take the trip out there and stay a few days and skate the park. That Tuesday, me, Mic, Rhegs, Emma and Rubby all packed up Rheagan’s Volvo and I drove us to Des Moines.
